Lovely Fort Myers Condo

We were the first to rent the condo. The entire condo has been updated and was very comfortable. The Internet connection was fast and reliable. Gulf Harbor is a gated community with friendly neighbors. Shopping and restaurants are conveniently close.

Check in process was complicated because manager forgot to notify the people at the gate. Upon entering the condo the unit was much smaller than the online pictures indicated. Some of the furniture did not match the pictures. Upon further investigation we realized that none of the bedrooms had bureaus. The master bedroom had a small walk-in closet which had a broken TV in a box. All 3 bedrooms had the owner's personal items, such as kitchen chairs, Christmas stuff and a flotation raft and a bike in the lanai. The air conditioner needed to be repaired as well as the kitchen lights. The bedding had holes in the pillow cases and sheets. The Grill was dirty. The patio umbrella base was not usable because it was rusted out. We felt that it was not designed for a 3 month stay. It was a good location as there were many shops and grocery stores close by.

1. The security staff at the gate were, in fact, notified of your pending arrival. Not sure why you experienced difficulties. 2. Pictures don't lie, the unit is exactly the size you viewed online. 3.The couch in the sunroom IS new & an improvement. 4. There is ample closet space and shelving- no need for cumbersome bureaus. 5. The TV in the walk in closet is a spare. It works fine. The beauty of a flat screen TV is that they take up very little space. 6. ALL the furnishing in the condo ARE the owners personal property. The spare dining room chairs are provided should a guest have company, the bike is there for your enjoyment as well as the inflatable paddle board. 7. There are no holes in either the pillowcases or sheets. Had you discovered one, you would have found brand new sheet sets in the spare closet by the small Christmas tree. 8. The gas grill was clean upon your arrival. It has barely been used since its purchase, but you are correct about the umbrella base. It needs replacement, the salt air corrodes things quickly, but it was entirely functional. 9. Very sorry about the AC. Things sometimes break down. 10. You are right about the location though, it really is great, as is the condo itself, clean & impeccably maintained.

Love, love the neighbors and area

This was my second year for staying January and February. I absolutely love the condo. The warm decor, the inviting lanai and outdoor patio furniture makes it easy to enjoy. The friendliness of the surrounding neighbors made my stay so amazing. Definitely would love to stay here again.

The condo was exceptionally nice, great location! I definitely would rent again for the next season, but unfortunately they rented the next season out from under me thinking I would not want to rent for 3 months (it was offered, but then put back out on Vrbo without confirming with me). Pretty disappointed in their assumptions. I always believe that things happen for a reason and for now I am very sad that I was not approached with the question directly.

Gulf Harbour Guziniski

Unit as clean and well furnished! a little pricey for the emenities available in the complex! Well furnished but in the old part of Gulf Harbour! Had a few problems that were dealt with to Marg & my satisfaction. Needs a new front screen door so we could let air move through the unit. We don't like to use air conditioners much so the more air movement the better. Dec. 28, 2018through early a.m. March 30, 2019
