We enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay here. We were only there to sleep at night. It was a comfortable place to sleep and get ready for the day. The location was good with it being near the tube station. The parking off the street was very nice. Thank you.

Poor Comms and Opportunist

We booked this property 2 weeks in advanced and sent several messages, all ignored, asking for an early check in.We engaged with VRBO to seek support.Through VRBO the owner asked for an 80 early check in fee.4 hours before check in we received an email stating our booking had been cancelled. We had already travelled to London and had to find and book alternative accommodation.Looking at other reviews of the property this appears to be a common occurrence.

Nice Bolthole

Tasteful and clean, good size apartment. About 15 mins walk from the tube. Easy check in. Driveway needs a bit of a fix and toilet seat broke, but those can be easily fixed. Couldn’t find WiFi network even though the network and password was there. Small things but overall really happy with our stay and lovely place to stay.

Weekend break

Property was ideal location for Wembley stadium 10 minutes away in an uber.It was clean and tidy and exactly as it is in the pictures.Entry on arrival was straight forward enough and communication with Stephen was very good,any questions he answered immediately so thanks again for a great stay.Only complaint no light on kitchen ceiling and back bedroom window was cracked but informed him off this so I'm sure it'll be attended too.Will certainly use again.

Scammer, avoid this host

Avoid this host and do not book this listing. Refused to give check in information and then on the day cancelled before we were due to check in, despite me messaging and asking for check in info and also reading reviews where others had experienced the exact thing with this host! Very dissappointing.

I’d love to be able to review this property but I was told at the last minute (night before) that the apartment was no longer available due to a ‘plumbing issue’ and only after I made contact with the host to enquire about check in. I asked for a refund as the alternative accommodation offered was miles away from where we wanted to be, concert at Wembley. This was agreed as he stated it was an emergency but now he’s ignoring all messages. I had to book different accommodation so I’m well out of pocket. Avoid!!!

Great

Booked this for one night as we were going to Wembley to watch the boxing . Only 20 mins away from the stadium. Was very apprehensive after reading recent reviews . I phoned the owner a couple of days before to be told we would get details between 2 an 3 on the day . Still worried phoned up on the morning to be told the same. Set off on the long journey and the owner Stephen rang me to see how far away we were . We were about 1/2 hour away so he waited at the property for us . No problems at all and had a great night . Will definitely be staying here again if we have any concerts at Wembley to go to

Avoid at all costs

Booked here as we had a concert at Wembley booked and thought it looked an ideal location. Messaged the host but no replies but thought fine. Sunday before we stayed I asked about checking in. Was told details would be sent to me on the day of arrival between 2-3pm. I thought Ok although I would have preferred a bit more notice. Between then and the day of arrival I checked to see if he had any new reviews and there was a 1 star review saying that he had cancelled on them the day before claiming there was a leak at the property. A few days later that review disappeared. That started to make me nervous. Anyway, on the day we were set to arrive I called him at 2:15pm to check everything was OK and he said he would call the cleaners and confirm all fine. We set off to London. About 45 minutes into the drive a text pops up saying our booking had been cancelled due to a ‘leak’ and a full refund had been issued. Does this sound suss to you, of course it does. Had a bad feeling about it from the outset. Got the money back, yes, but nowhere to stay. Had to phone Vrbo who managed to put us up in a hotel for the first night but had to spend 2 hours on the phone to them to get it sorted whilst sat at the services. Have since reported this host to them and they said they will investigate. Then had to pay a crazy price for the 2nd night as there were so many concerts going on in London that day. Checked Vrbo and the room was back up for hire on the Saturday at an inflated cost. Avoid!

Big surprise

Well, we got to the place where we were supposed to stay, the place was very far from the train station, and stores, completely opposite to the announcement. When I made contact with the manager the property was not available then I was relocated to a closer place to the city. My family was exhausted and stress out about the situation, we moved by train to the other side of the city. The property the we finally stayed was good size for 3 guess, but there was no hot water, it was not easy to take a shower. Please, be sure to contact the host before you arrive to any property from VRBO
