Välkommen till Buck Brook Valley. Vår fastighet erbjuder 2 härliga bondgårdar på 52 avskilda hektar med en privat, 9 hektar mangjord sjö. En bra samlingsplats för familj och vänner.

Vandra längs breda snitt genom djupa skogar. Simma från den stora flytande plattformen, använd en av kajakerna eller roddbåtarna eller prova din hand på fiske i vår vackra, vårmatade 9 hektar stora sjö. Välj blåbär medan du njuter av en lugn promenad på den rensade gräsvägen runt sjön. Läs en bok eller bara koppla av i lusthuset medan du njuter av den vackra utsikten över sjön. BBQ på den stora sten uteplats med gasgrill, uteserveringar, paraplyer och massor av comfy stolar. Samla på den stora rymliga gräsmattan för ett spel av badminton, volleyboll eller krocket. När solen sätter upp, slappna av med familj och vänner vid sjösidan. Njut av ett glas vin eller cocktail medan barnen stekar marshmallows.
De 2 husen hyrs tillsammans, som ett paket.
Det större huset sover 13 och det mindre huset sover 7. Perfekt för familjeåterförening eller träffas med vänner.
Den större rambling gården har ett stort samlingsrum med en 9 fot matbord, biljardbord, piano och bekväma sittplatser. Ett TV-rum med stor plattskärms-TV. Ett mysigt vardagsrum, ett äter kök. 3 sovrum nere (1 kung med privat badrum, 1 drottning och 1 sovrum med 2 enkelsängar. En komplett bad och sol veranda komplettera 1: a våningen. Den andra våningen har 2 sovrum (1queen sovrum och 1 stort våningssäng rum som sover 5 (bra ställe för barn)

Det mindre huset - ett renoverat bondgård i 1910, har ett äter kök med panty, vardagsrum, drottning sovrum, badrum och veranda på första våningen. 2: a våningen har 1 stort sovrum med 3 enkelsängar (perfekt för barn) och 2 små sovrum båda med en dubbelsäng.

Båda huset har tvättstuga med tvättmaskin och torktumlare.

Nära Jeffersonville och Roscoe med bra restauranger affärer, mikro-bryggeri och destilleri. Golf och tennis på närliggande Tennanah Lake. Fiskare! Vi är 5 minuters bilresa från Beaverkill.

A space for everyone

Our group of 4 families had an amazing long weekend here. The lake was the perfect size for swimming, boating and play. The fire pit was a great size with ample chairs. The porches were serene, and there were so many cozy rooms and places to stretch out to relax. The houses were well stocked, the check out process easy, and comfortable. The proximity to the town was a plus. Overall, a wonderful getaway!

Vacation Perfection

Both houses were well stocked as was the lake with large mouth bass,perch, and assorted sun fish, the kids and adults enjoyed jumping off the dock and the lake was very clean and the swimming was perfect. I especially enjoyed walking around the lake in the early mornings,it was very peaceful and serine, and of course everyone enjoyed the campfires at night and although we could have scoured the woods for wood we contracted through Karan the property manger to have wood delivered by “ Lou who had a quarter of a cord stacked and ready to burn,! All in all it is a perfect vacation getaway, and least I forget the few times that I had a question and called the property manger Karen she answered by the third ring or promptly returned the call.

Vacation 2022

This was our families 2nd vacation at this property and we have already booked it again for 2023! We can’t say enough about how much we love it! The lake and grounds afford us the room to be together and also space enough to have quiet time when needed. Karen is one of the best hosts

Yearly College Reunion

Our group of 12 really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property, which could have slept even more. The lake/pond was awesome and we used the fire pit most nights. The hosts provide plenty of good quality supplies like paper towels, TP etc. and both kitchens had lots of cookware. Milano Cookies and wrapped soaps/toiletries were a nice touch. We made most of the ice for our coolers using the generous number of ice trays in the bigger house. They recently upgraded WiFi in the Big House and our tech friends were impressed… The Little House is a bit less capable but fine for basic needs. One negative for us was a musty smell in parts of the larger house (TV room and basement quite bad) and some were also impacted (nasal congestion, watery eyes, sneezing) in the main gathering space. The smaller house seemed fine, as did all of the bedrooms. Still, we considered returning next summer because the positives outweighed the negatives for many of us… Pool table a big hit!

Amazing Family Reunion at the Perfect Place!

For the first time in four years our family could get together with ages ranging from 4 months to 79 and this home was the perfect place to accommodate everyone and make it a very special time. The 2 houses are outfitted extremely well with everything you could imagine needing. The indoor and outdoor spaces are terrific for allowing a large group to all be together as well as having various spots for small groups to enjoy some needed alone time. The beds were all very comfortable, the kitchens have everything that is needed for great meals, the outdoor dining & BBQ area made for a perfect place for all our cooking and meals, and even on the one occasion we had to do dinner indoors the big table in the big house fit all 15 who needed a spot at the table! The host was fantastic and very responsive, answering all our questions very quickly ahead of time and providing easy ways to be in contact throughout our stay. The grounds around the house are beautiful, well-groomed by Lou and we took full advantage of the path around the lake as well as the lake to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. Fishing was a hit even though it was not something we had planned to do! A visit to the Alpaca farm 3 mins away was well worth it too for the younger ones. The stores are 10 - 15 mins away which is also super convenient for when you have to restock. We have been doing lake house reunion vacations with my family for almost 10 years now and this was by far the best one ever thanks to this wonderful summer getaway spot! We can't wait to be back next year.

The houses were beautiful. They were stocked with anything and everything you might need. Karen immediately responded to questions I had. The lake was gorgeous. We were there with 4 generations... a good time was had by all. We will be back.

2021 Family Vacation

We chose this property because of the size. We range from ages 6 to 82 spanning 4 generations. The houses were everything that we had hoped for and more. We were lucky enough to have fabulous weather for the majority of the week so were able to enjoy the lake every day and evening, some even enjoyed a night swim on our last night there. We were happy to see that the fire pit was large enough for all of us to gather around comfortably. The cell service for some was non-existent but no one complained and the wifi, while spotty at the large house, was more than sufficient at the small house. The only bad thing was having to leave. We all agreed that this was by far the best place we have been and would definitely return!

Quality time galore

This property was exactly what our family needed. It's remoteness & lack of cell phone reception/ wifi connection allowed us to be present & spend much needed quality time together. The houses were extremely clean & offered all the amenities of home. We had so much fun swimming, boating, fishing & playing pool. Karen was great to work with & very responsive to our needs. We were so thankful to have found this place.

Wonderful and relaxing time

Despite the storms later in our stay, it was wonderful. We went with a group of friends and everyone had a great time, parents and kids. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of room, lots of games, pool table, and of course the lake. Would definitely recommend.

Highly Recommend for Large Groups, Great All Around Experience!

Buck Brook Valley exceeded our expectations for a long weekend with our group of 18. The two houses were clean and well appointed with all the necessities one needs for large gatherings. Air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms made for cool and restful sleeping. The patio with two large tables and umbrellas were ideal for big breakfasts and dinners. Nothing is better than playing yard games and then jumping in to the private pond for a float. We also landed a bunch of fish right off the dock! Everyone in our group agreed that Buck Brook is a hidden gem! Thanks Karen!

Had A Great Time At This Beautiful Property!

My wife and I were looking for a peaceful place to relax and unwind, and we found it here! Well maintained property that was well stocked and very comfortable. On the property we enjoyed scenic hikes, fishing, fires by the lake and playing pool. When we ventured out, there were nearby farmers markets, restaurants and breweries that we thoroughly enjoyed! Karen was a pleasure to deal with, and her brother Ted gave me some great fishing tips! Highly recommend this vacation property for couples and families, you will not be disappointed.

Magical place on the lake

We had a wonderful stay. The property was better than described. The kitchen was easy to make large meals for 4 families. We biked, swam, walked and relaxed. It was the perfect place for a family getaway.

Idyllic Getaway

We loved our time at Buck Brook Valley. We hung out in the private lake every day and ate dinner on the patio every night. Things to account for before traveling: 1. Only one house has WiFi, so the signal in the other house is very weak, and 2. There’s no air conditioning on the ground floors, so if you visit during a heat wave, you’ll want to think about how to stay cool.

Wonderful

Incredibly peaceful setting. We had a great week on the lake. The fishing was excellent and the water was clean and refreshing. The houses were comfortable and well equipped. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. This is a perfect spot to get away from it all and recharge with friends and family.

Amazing. Beautiful. Relaxing.

We stayed at this beautiful property for 9 days to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday. It was just beautiful. Everything was clean, well organized, and well prepared for our visit. Karen was extraordinarily helpful and quickly responsive. The lake was amazing -- clean, clear, beautiful water. The kitchen was wonderfully and thoughtfully stocked. The beds were comfortable. The living areas were cozy and a great place to congregate. I hope we can keep coming again and again.

Beautiful property

One of the most relaxing areas in the Catskills. Both farmhouses are immaculately clean, exactly as described. Ten of us enjoyed celebrating at the nearby golf club and in town at Roscoe Beer Co. The lake is stocked and the fire pit was perfect for drinking beers after catching bass and perch. Thanks again!

Paradise on the Lake

We rented this magical place for a long weekend...There were 8 guys celebrating a bachelor party weekend. We hiked, swam, kayaked, fished, relaxed by a huge bonfire in the evenings and grilled on the huge stone patio. The house is amazing and on the day of poor weather, we played pool, chilled on the glass patio and played some cards and board games. We were absolutely amazed by the peaceful vibe that overtook us here to rejoice in the news of the upcoming wedding and reminisced about our days that have passed. I highly recommend if you're looking to disconnect with the hustle & bustle of everyday and just want to chill and totally relax and bond with the best of friends or family..this is the perfect place to be...Views were majestic, lake was refreshing, house was totally amazing and the pics could never do it justice...Why wait? Book today and create one of the greatest memories ever...Thanks so much for your gracious hospitality! We just loved it here, and hope to be back soon.

Wonderful Get-Away Weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at the Roscoe property. The houses were nicely kept, the kitchen and grill had everything we needed for our group, and the pool table, lake, and lawn were plenty of fun for everyone. Karen was super helpful and clear in communications and made us feel completely welcome. Would definitely book again!
