An excellent location
A spacious and comfortable property, we enjoyed our time at Salmon Run Lodge. Itâs in an excellent but peaceful location for exploring the surrounding area. Carrbridge itself is lovely with some great walks and attractions. A few minor niggles. The property wasnât spotless. Dust, hair and sweet wrappers under furniture, dishes left in the dishwasher from the last guests and a freezer which leaked over the floor. The âguidebookâ is out date referencing things that are no longer available. Generally it could do with a tidy up, water stained floors, scuffed paint in most rooms, a lot of weeds growing up through the decking and gravel outside. Most importantly, the beds were clean and the hot tub and sauna were great at the end of the day, so generally we enjoyed our stay.
