Situated on the southern banks of the mature lake of Clearwater, Yew Tree Lodge is a beautiful 4-bed detached villa. As with all of our properties, this beautiful home is set within a 500 acre nature reserve, located on the award-winning Lower Mill Estate. With private access to Clearwater Lake off your decking to launch a paddleboard, your adventure really does begin on your doorstep. The Luxury Spa is all but 1 minutes walk away â so plenty of opportunity to sit back, relax & enjoy your stay.

By making a reservation you are accepting the Lower Mill Estate's Code of Conduct as per the Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and your guests.
STATED GROUP SIZE: Bookings are accepted on the group size & configuration stated at the time of booking. Any changes to this would require permission. Lower Mill Estate is a gated and warden controlled private estate and we provide the Estate with all guest group sizes and group dynamics prior to arrival, which are confirmed at the time of booking.
DAY VISITORS: Day visitors to the Property may be permitted with our prior consent, at our discretion, provided that the total group (including visitors) does not exceed the maximum occupancy of the Property.
SPA ACCESS: All but 60 seconds walk to the Luxury Spa complex, of which you get full rental access during your stay, allowing you and your family and friends to use the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Outdoor pools are closed during the low season.
NATURE FIRST: Lower Mill Estate is a nature first environment and we are all guests of nature. As such, things like certain lakes being closed in off season for nesting, low level lighting at night, reeds being left to grow to full height, is part of managing the unique environment and eco system.
PARKING: Yew Tree Lodge has dedicated parking for one car in an electrically operated gated car park near the property. Other vehicles can make use of visitor âVâ spaces, or the overflow car parks.
HOT TUB: All of our hot tubs are maintained by a professional pool company, Messrs, MR Pools. Please do not use the hot tub after 10:30pm to retain the peaceful & respectful environment, in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
TRAVEL COT OPTION: We are unable to supply bedding or a mattress thicker than the âwrap around baseâ that the travel cot comes with. For your reference, the approx. size of a standard travel cot is 60-65cm x 95-100cm.
BBQs: Due to insurance restrictions & potential health & safety compliance issues, we have removed BBQs from each property. Therefore, please remember to pack your own, or alternatively purchase a disposable BBQ for alfresco cooking.
LAKE SAFETY: The garden/decking areas could be open to the water, so additional care must be taken at all times.
