Fly till naturen och koppla av bara några minuter från Houston i detta 4 sovrum, nyligen renoverat hem på en privat sjö. Det finns 450 fot av lakefront egendom och en tunnland inhägnad mycket privat trädgård för barnen att springa och leka. Prova med att fiska utanför piren, ta kanot- eller pedalbåten ut för en avkopplande rundtur runt sjön, eller använd kajaken för att fånga en stor munbas. Alla båtar är tillgängliga för din användning när du bor i hemmet. Bygg upp en eld för att steka marshmallows på kvällen och lyssna på naturens ljud medan du stirrar. Nästa morgon kan du njuta av ditt kaffe eller te på däck medan du ser solen gå upp över sjön. Vi erbjuder även våra gäster att samla in färska ägg från våra hönor burade på fastigheten - vilken behandling!

Huset är fullt utrustat med allt du behöver för en liten familjesammanträde eller lugnt par tillflyktsort. Goodrich är en liten stad strax öster om Lake Livingston State Park. Lake Livingston dammen ligger mindre än 10 minuter bort, liksom Lake Livingston State Park där du kan båt, vandra de många skogsområden, fågelskådning, mountainbike, geocache och studera naturen. Staden Livingston ligger en kort 10 minuters bilresa och erbjuder restauranger och butiker för alla dina behov. De indiska reservationerna i Alabama-Coushatta ligger bara 20 minuter bort om du vill lära dig mer om stammen eller tillbringa kvällen på kasinot på plats. För längre dagsutflykter ligger The Woodlands Mall och underhållningskomplexet The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion cirka 1 timme bort. Great weekend getaway!

We gathered together from two states to enjoy a relaxing all girls weekend, this place exceeded our expectations! The house was so clean and has everything you need and then some, the views are beautiful and the host was absolutely amazing!! We have “girls getaway” weekends at least twice a year… We marked this one down as a favorite and will definitely be back!! I highly recommend!

Visit in August

The property was lovely and very relaxing. The rooms were spacious, and our family was comfortable. The hosts were most hospitable, and we felt like welcome visitors. It seemed like our hosts thought of everything we needed even closets of toys for our 2 and 3 yr. olds - who also enjoyed seeing the chickens. I highly recommend this property and would certainly book again. A big thank you to our hosts.

Absolutely Perfect!!!

We just returned home from this amazing property and we're already planning to come back next year! The location is private and quiet, the home makes you feel welcome the minute you walk in like you are returning to the family lakehouse, and we received a text from the host checking on us with a number to reach her if we had any problems. The home is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and we all had space to hang out. The view out the back is so pretty and even when it came a short rain we couldn't take our eyes off the lake. We fished, swam, went kayaking and peddle-boating. The lake is calm, serene, and the bonus of no motorized watercrafts is so nice. The kids loved the chickens, playing basketball and the firepit at night. Thankyou for the gift, the memories and a wonderful family weekend!!!

Peace and Quiet

Everyone enjoyed this nice tucked away home. Right off the water with plenty of space for the family and dogs to run around. Fresh eggs from the coop, s’mores by the fire pit, kayaks/ peddle boats and fishing made a great trip. Owner was great, checked in on us from time to time to make sure things were going well. Livingston State park is only about 15 minutes away; Sam Houston National Forest is about 40 minutes away. Weather wasn’t great, but we were still able to have a good time.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Anything we thought we needed was there. Even a first aid kit. From a 75 year old to 4 yo. Everyone had a ball. The fresh eggs were a hit with my brother. We will definitely be returning.

Peaceful, relaxing home away from home

Very peaceful and beautiful home on a quiet lake. Alise is a thoughtful and gracious host who obviously cares whether guests are comfortable and enjoy themselves. The house is extremely well equipped with anything you could possibly need. It truly felt like a home. The early checkin and late checkout were very much appreciated. We loved the chickens (and their eggs). We enjoyed fishing, canoeing and bird watching. We would definitely return.

Lake house retreat

This property was immaculately clean. The house was well laid out & the beds were comfortable. We loved the big farmers dining table & the fire pit. The only change I would like is to have the side deck more accessible. We were happy hanging out on the back porch and having a peaceful view of the lake. The canoes were fun too!

Amazing property!

We had an amazing family time at this property. Everything was so clean and well taken care of. It was spacious inside and out, the chickens were a big deal for the grandkids. I can’t find anything negative to say about this wonderful house and the gracious host! We will definitely be back!

4th of July Family Vacation

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at the lake. The house had everything we needed for cooking meals. We had 6 adults and 5 teenagers who loved kayaking and canoeing. We all enjoyed checking on the chickens every day to see how many eggs there were and we enjoyed them for breakfast. Alise always responded quickly when she was contacted and took care of any problems we had.

Excellent Weekend

Property is awesome. Beautiful location on the lake, and great to have kayaks and peddle boats to use. House is so clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. Kids loved the chickens, and we had fresh eggs for the whole stay. Owner is very communicative, and available should we have any questions or concerns. This place was a treat, and super relaxing for a weekend away from the city. Would stay here again.

Perfect getaway weekend

Amazing house and property! We celebrated my mom’s 75th birthday at this lake house and we all had the best time! The house is perfect and everything you could possibly need was there! Will definitely book again!
