We were very happy with the cottage. It was just the right fit for us. Enjoyed the surrounding deck with 3 different areas. The sunroom was great for dining. We are a camp fire family so the firepit fit the bill nicely.

Solid VRBO for a group! Kitchen was very well equipped. The backyard, deck and screened in room were perfect. Lots of games (indoor and out) to keep us occupied. George was a very well organized and responsive host.

We had a great time staying at this cottage! It was the perfect layout for our two families. Although it was a short walk to the beach, it was a lovely beach! We loved the fenced in backyard for playing with our small children and dog. Unfortunately, we learned after check in that drinking water is not provided and we were required to bring our own.

The cottage is on safe, municipal-tested well water that’s checked daily, so it is absolutely fine for drinking. For those who prefer to bring their own, we also provide a cooler that fits a 5-gallon jug. This is included in our guest instructions to all guests and was also shared in your inbox before arrival. Fantastic spot

It was a great spot for our family gathering. We enjoyed the space. The open concept cottage was great for our social time and the Christmas tree was a nice touch. All interactions with George were timely, pleasant, and helpful. We look forward to having an opportunity to stay there again.

The cottage is very spacious and was equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.My only complaint was that we could not enjoy sitting out on the back deck or 3-season room due to the frequent drafts of sewage.

Thank you for your feedback—I’m really glad you found the cottage spacious and well-equipped. I’m sorry to hear about the issue with the smell outdoors. The sewage system is inspected yearly by both the municipality and Waterloo Biofilter, and it’s operating properly. It’s possible the odour came from a neighbouring septic pump-out or the nearby park, which can happen occasionally in the area. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention and hope to welcome you back again.
