Ideal for family reunions and group gatherings, this 4-bed + loft, 3-bath retreat provides a perfect waterfront getaway. Immerse yourself in the comforts of home while relishing breathtaking sunsets. Experience ultimate comfort at our Bayfield cottage, accommodating 10 guests in 4 bedrooms and a loft. Three bedrooms feature king beds, one with a queen bed, while the loft offers a futon and two single beds for versatile sleeping arrangements. Enjoy breathtaking sunset and marina views from the lakefront location, conveniently accessible without navigating over 100 steps.
Our cottage is the perfect place for mature groups, families, and kids to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of beautiful Bayfield. When not enjoying the outdoors, the upstairs loft contains loads of toys and board games that will entertain the entire family.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven, stove, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, blender, microwave, crock pot, etc. Donât worry about cutlery and dishes as both are provided for up to 10 people. Cooking utensils, pots and pans are also provided. Weâve also got a washer, dryer and iron so you donât have to over pack!
Enjoy grilling out on the BBQ! Donât worry about propane tanks as the BBQ is natural gas and grilling utensils are provided.
Start your day fishing on the pier a stoneâs throw away or riding one of our two cruiser bikes through beautiful Bayfield. Looking to get competitive with your guests? Try out some of our beach/lawn games or play a round of pool. We have bocce ball, croquet set, cornhole, and giant jenga.
When itâs time to hit the beach, be sure to grab the sandcastle building kit or the two kayaks provided (lifejackets also provided) and walk down to the beach. Separate beach towels are provided. The beach is just a few steps from the back porch. If mobility is a concern, this cottage is perfect.
Cap off your day by unwinding in the hot tub, soaking in stunning Lake Huron and Bayfield marina views as the sun sets. Book your perfect getaway at our Bayfield cottage for an unforgettable experience!
As a result of local short term rental bylaws, a separate document including our house rules and short term rental license must be provided to guests for signature before any booking is confirmed.

My sister and I purchased this cottage from our grandfather's estate in October of 2020 with the intent of turning it into a cottage rental. Prior to becoming a cottage rental, the cottage was owned by our grandparents, Robert & Doris MacArthur. Growing up we made many wonderful memories at âCamp Grandma". We enjoyed tea parties and painting on the back deck that overlooks Lake Huron, playing board games on the screened in porch on rainy days and took short strolls up to the Heritage Bayfield Main Street! Our family recounts wonderful memories playing pool in the rec room, fishing on the Bayfield River or watching the sunset over the lake while roasting marshmallows over the fire!
Our grandparents' wish was that this cottage continues to be cherished and enjoyed, just as our family has done over the past 25 years. Our hope is that your stay will create precious memories that will last a lifetime!
