JA! Hawaii 5-0 filmade på vår egendom för säsong 6: Episode 1 & den ökända Magnum PI egendom är mindre än en 1/2 mil bort!

Makapu'u Hale är dekorerad med bekväm och charmig ö inredning och är perfekt luftkonditionerade w / Fujitsu A / C enheter. Hemmet har nyligen renoverats och har stort öppet konceptkök och fantastisk havsutsikt från vardagsrummet. Våra gäster njuter av restaurangstil på det stora utomhusdäckområdet med djup utsikt över det kristallblå havet. Vi är en säker och gated egendom!

När du går ut på din lanai (veranda) kommer du att upptäcka lockande havsbris och synpunkter på 7 öar, inklusive: Lanai, Molokai, Mañana aka Rabbit Island, Kaohikaipu aka Black Rock Island, Mokuluaöarna och Moku Manu Island ...! Du kan se den hawaiiska soluppgången varje dag på året från vår halvprivata brygga ... Planera dina dagar på stranden, snorkling, havsskalljakt eller bara lounging och sola och njut av en sköljning i din utomhusvattendusch när du är Gjort. Vi ger dig en tvättmaskin och torktumlare i hemmet med tvätttvål för att hålla dina strandkläder rena för nästa äventyr!

A month in paradise

We loved this property and our stay in Hawaii. It is the perfect getaway location with easy access to everything. Kalama O is incredibly helpful and attentive. The property is breathtaking and holds everything you would want from a visit to Hawaii. We will definitely return!

Beautiful home and views!

We had an amazing vacation staying here! The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for a great stay. We spent a lot of time in the yard, laying in the hammock and taking in the breathtaking views of the ocean. We spent a few days at the beach and the owner also had everything we needed including chairs, umbrella,cooler, sand toys, and body board! This truly was a dream vacation!

Amazing!!

We recently stayed here with our two children as well as my parents and we all loved it! The house was very clean and very well stocked with things for us to use which was a big plus. We did a lot of snorkeling which was nice to just be able to jump in the water right at the house. We are already trying to plan our next trip that we can come back to this amazing house!

So relaxing!

This property is beautiful! We wanted to stay away from the hustle of Honolulu and this location was perfect. Very quiet and peaceful and we were able to drive about 20 minutes to Kailua for restuarants, shopping, etc. I loved always being able to hear the ocean waves rolling in. We reached out with a question after check in and received a quick response. The beach in front of the property was very nice and I snorkeled out along the pier and saw some fish. Great stay!

Finally a real vacation!

What a wonderful getaway! Waking up hearing the sounds and smell of the ocean, being able to walk right out to the beach, going for an outrigger ride with Mike, going on nearby hikes, eating local food and staying in more of a real Hawaiian home are what made this experience special and hard to come by on Oahu. Thank you for making this possible!

Best Rental property on island!

This place is unbeatable! Best in the island! Super clean, comfortable, and ON the beach! Beach is super mellow! Perfect for little kids! The owner Mike lives next door. Super friendly local guy! Even gave us a ride on his boat! Trust me when I tell you if you’re coming to Oahu this is the spot/area you’ll want to be in! They don’t have the two twin beds pictured but they ARE in the living room up against two giants windows giving you top notch views during your stay!

A magical spot!

Our stay at Makapu'u Hale was beyond our expectations. The ocean practically comes right up to your feet as you relax on the porch, hammock or in the hot tub. The wave sounds lull you to sleep every night. And easy beach/water access is available right on the same property (not to mention the pier that is so refreshing to walk out on and enjoy the ever changing sea views). Great snorkeling right from your own beach is an amazing benefit that we didn't realize we'd use so much! The house setup with renovated kitchen & main bath, is fantastic and quiet high-quality air conditioning is much appreciated on those nights when the temp or humidity calls for it. Beds were very comfortable and TV, Wifi, etc. all worked great. We worked remotely from this beautiful spot many days during the 2020 pandemic quarantine period. The entrance is a driveway immediately off the main road, which is great to get anywhere you need to go. You might go by it and have to turn around the first time, but it's easy once you have some visual landmarks figured out. A new driveway has been added in the past year or two, which is not currently shown on Google satellite. This makes entry/egress even more convenient than in the past, and some of the old comments about figuring out where to park are now outdated. The location is about the same driving distance from Hawaii Kai and Kailua, so all of the amenities in either of those spots are readily available, with Honolulu not much further of course. Kalama & Mike were tremendous hosts. Immediately helpful whenever we had a question, but not intrusive in the slightest. If you're comparing this property to any other property that's NOT on the water (assuming the size fits your needs), don't hesitate and just book it. If comparing this property to other oceanfront, it's a terrific choice. If you love swimming & snorkeling, it probably beats most other locations for ease of access. There is plenty of beach to sit out on (& chairs provided), but not an expansive deep beach area if that makes a difference to you. Beachfront quietness & privacy is likely superior here to most spots in Lanikai or Kailua due to there not being any public access spots very close by. As you can tell, Makapu'u Hale is an amazing choice for your stay!

A little Slice of Heaven

Our family stayed here for a week and we are in awe. Getting up each morning with a cup of coffee (coffee was already in the home) and sitting on the deck watching the sun rise and listening to the ocean..... Access to the beach is private, you will only see people that are just walking up and down the beach which was not often. House had everything you needed for the beach, chairs, towels, body boards and all the snorkel gear. The owner is a couple houses down and has a boat that he likes to go out on when he can, if you are joining him a tip is a very nice jester. The boat rides were some of our highlights of the stay, just indescribable, what a magical place to stay. Thank you for everything

Great house for my family

The house was great. It is a little difficult to find since the directions are different that what’s there. We drive right past it 3 times since red markers on the check in instructions weren’t there. However the house is great. The property itself is wonderful. I enjoyed coffee on the private pier each morning. The location of the property doesn’t seem to be the best. A homeless encampment is across the road and another is down the road about a mile or two. Overall we would stay there again.

Little Slice of Heaven

Wife and I stayed here for the 1st 4 days of our trip before the rest of the family flew in. If your looking for a simple quiet place to stay this is it. View, sunrise, hot tub, swing and hammock were all amazing. Only recommendation to the owner would be a new set of fry pans, the teflon Is pealing off. We certainly would stay here again.

AMAZING

This property is so beautiful. Right on the ocean, watched a beautiful sunset every morning from the pier. Had a little confusion on parking upon arrival but was able to talk to someone right away to help us figure it out. Great kitchen had all the immensities we needed. Bathrooms were awesome. My favorite part was eating breakfast on the open patio every morning. Would highly recommend.

Can’t find a better place

This place was magical. We are in Hawaii for two weeks but only stayed here for a couple of nights. I would have been happy spending the entire two weeks here. I can’t believe this place even exists. Might seem pricey at first but it’s actually an amazing value for what you get. I will always pine to return!

Amazing

I could write such a long review about how much fun we had here but I will keep it short for you all reading this. You can not go wrong with renting this property. It has everything that Hawaii is suppose to be about. Waking up to sunrise over the beautiful ocean and Rabbit Island. Having morning coffee on the pier. Easy access everywhere. Country Hawaii living. Beauty beyond belief. Even the friendliness of the neighbors and local fisherman. Thank you for an amazing stay full of fun and relaxation. Thank you Mike for the boat ride on your new catamaran. We will be back.

Fantastic property!!

This house and beach was wonderful for our entire family. Our kids (boys 13 and 11) loved the beach and the swings. Great beach for snorkeling. Great location. The owner took us on his boat for a awesome ride. Our whole experience with this property was fantastic!! We would definitely go back!

Schönes Haus direkt am Meer

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Schönes Haus direkt am Meer, ruhig gelegen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Viele Attraktionen mit angemessener Fahrzeit erreichbar. Auto erforderlich. Zahlenschloss zum Hauseingang müsste mal gewartet werden, da wir häufig mehrere Anläufe brauchten damit wir eintreten könnten. Daher beim Check in auch einen Abzug. Wobei Mick uns beim Check in abends um 21 Uhr sehr behilflich war, ohne ihn hätten wir wahrscheinlich im Auto die erste Nacht verbracht

Beautiful home and relaxing location. LOVED this place!

The home is just as shown. Expansive views and great amenities. The small beach with a short stair access was perfect for a private swim. Hot outdoor shower and hot tub round out the experience. Owner Mike was around in one of the other houses, but not intrusive. Instructions to the property were very accurate. The only criticism I might have is that the front door code and lockset are a bit fiddly. Also, the door lock does not automatically lock when closed.

Perfect!

Being right on the water so close to snorkeling was a dream. Hot tub was perfect and crystal clean. Beds were comfy. The house and kitchen were spotless and had everything you could need. The location couldn't have been more perfect. We can't wait to return.

Staycation

Initially I had a different image of what the layout of the property/house looked like but when I got there it was more then what I expected! Beachfront was just awesome and the house was just as good if not better then the view! Very spacious but yet simple home with a lot of room which makes it great for a family or some friends looking to just get away for the weekend! My kids loved the jacuzzi and the fact that they could see all the fishes and turtles from the pier! Couldn't have picked a better place for our little getaway! Will definitely be coming back!
