Hope to come back to this place!

The condo was awesome. We enjoyed the sunrise every morning and the short walk to the beach was nice. We loved all the extra's in the closet for our use. The Snorkeling equipment, boogie board,s lawn chairs etc etc were great.Every time we looked in the closet we found more things for us to use. It was quiet, nice and relaxing and not crowed at all. Thanks so much. I can't imagine finding anything nicer for the price!!!

First time to vrbo

This place was our first vrbo and they made it very easy and stress free. They provided detailed instructions and assistance. Check in process was a breeze. The security there was very friendly and helped us locate the entrance to our building and also gave us pointers about the area. We love the location. It is close to a lot of good places whether driving or walking. The place was how it was described. It was clean and spacious. We did not cook when we stayed but there are available pots and pans for cooking. We loved that there are 2 bathrooms for our family of five. Easy check out process as well.

Very dirty, moldy air conditioner

I was shocked at the lack of updates on this place especially considering all the positive ratings. The place is old, it smelled old, and the floors were filthy! The air conditioning was two swamp coolers that dripped water and turned off after 4 hours. You also need to keep the closet door in the bedroom open to turn on and change tv channels, Overall property grounds were nice, but we couldn’t take it and actually left early

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spacious apartment. Unfortunately a bad smell through the apartment which did not dissipate. The beach towels provided were not clean.

The room was well stocked with beach chairs, towels and an umbrella. There were some toiletries as well. It was overall comfortable but the room had a smell which lingered, and some of the bath towels were stained. The kitchen drawers were sticky with old food.

Beautiful condo. Accommodated our family of 5 well. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars of because of the ac in the master. It is set on a timer with 4hrs as the longest time. If you come from a cold climate and it’s too stuffy to sleep at night you wake up every 4hrs to reset the timer. By the end of the vacation I felt like I had been up with a newborn the entire vacation. It does have a window but it opens to the walkway and the condo is by the elevator so it’s not quiet.

Great place to stay and amazing view.

Our stay was great. The kids enjoyed the beach and the condo had everything we needed for beach and the stay. At one point we couldn't get into the condo because of the locks, but was able to call the friendly management group and got the assistance we needed.

TrÚs bel appartement plein de commodités

TrĂšs belle propriĂ©tĂ© avec cuisine complĂšte, l’accĂšs Ă  des BBQ extĂ©rieurs et a de l’équipement de plage. AccĂšs Ă  la plage, piscine, spa, mini golf, terrains de tennis et de jeux extĂ©rieurs sans quitter le complexe. Superbe balcon pour manger et relaxer. Stationnement en quantitĂ© suffisante! Great Vacation

We had a great time in Maui and loved where we stayed at Sunset Maui. The condo was clean and welcoming. I loved that they had towels and chairs available to take to the beach as well as water gear. The location was great for what we wanted to do and we met several people around the pool. It was a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Great Spot for a Family of 5

While the exterior of this property is dated, the interior was just as advertised. The space was clean and well-appointed including beach chairs, a cooler and snorkeling gear. The condo pool was wonderful and had a great view of the ocean. We also really enjoyed the view from the lanai. We would definitely visit again!

Great location - unit updated!

Had a wonderful time at Maui Sunset - our favorite place to stay while on Maui! The room A506 was clean and updated. While there were towels, chairs, snorkels and a cooler I was surprised there were no boogie boards like in other units we’ve stayed in. Not a complaint just an observation. Good time had by all!!

We enjoyed our stay We did have a few issues Shower curtain in the bedroom bathroom kept coming down Kitchen light didn’t work Stinky dishwasher and washing machine Bath mat would have been nice as well as a tub mat.

Needs updating

Me my husband and daughter arrived at Maui Sunset after 6 days at another property. We have traveled to Maui for years. The bedding and mattresses need to be replaced and updated. The floor was swept but not scrubbed/mopped. It is nice to be on the beach but the unit needs simple upgrades to reflect the price per night. The A/C units shut down automatically ever few hours and need resetting. Uncomfortable sleeping through the night.

Great condo in Kihei

My boyfriend and I stayed at this condo for 9 nights. We really enjoyed it. The location was great. The nightly sunset over the ocean from the lanai was beautiful. We did yoga out on the beautifully taken care of grounds and it was central to not only Kihei but to everything in Maui. The washer and dryer worked well and the air conditioners kept us cool. We miss it already and would definitely stay here again.
