Only small problems...Keurig coffee maker did not work and the week we stayed was unseasonably cold and there was no way to adjust the heat. Lower level was freezing. Also, charcoal grill was inadequate.

Very comfortable house for our family get-together

Family vacation - 2 adults, 3 teens

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pros: Cabin was beautiful, and the location was perfect on the lake. Downstairs area was ideal for the younger kids to claim, and we used the wet bar for blackjack table. Gorgeous huge deck, but we were glad we brought our own comfy camp chairs. We had a great experience renting a pontoon/kayaks/paddleboard and they delivered right to the dock!The cons: We knew to bring our own bed linens and towels (COVID), but didn't realize there would be no kitchen dishrags or towels! Not much in the way of kitchen supplies (for example, crusty bottle of watered down Dawn detergent w/ half inch of liquid in it), and the nearest store is about 1/2 hour away. Kitchen was ill-equipped - several "junk drawers" packed to the brim with old batteries, used twine, etc, but no whisk! Equipped like a "camp", with a hodgepodge of things picked up second hand. The home seemed clean, but the lower level has a funky basement smell and one of the kids got a fish hook in his foot (no, not ours) from walking barefoot. The furniture in the main area is typical "camp" furniture. Overall, we really enjoyed this cabin and would probably stay again. This is obviously a family home and not just a vacation rental - I prefer the latter since vacation rentals are usually better maintained. But, the home is very, very nice and the location is gorgeous.

The dock is too small for2 boats. You’ll want to bring your own fenders. We were upgraded to this cabin as our original rental had hot water heater issues. The living room sectional is shabby.

Rented for our snowmobile trip. Everything was spot on with the listing. The host was great to deal with very responsive getting back to me with any questions I had. Definitely going to stay here again.

2021 Kenny Lodge Vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall neutral(not overly good or bad) experience. Would not rent again until the kitchen A/C and dock are fixed. The dock was not usable for anyone who could not jump from the shore to the dock. This was in addition to the dock not being level. The maintenance guy said he would return with help to adjust the dock and mow the lawn. He did not return to do either. The addition of a small beach are would add great value. There is only weeds/rocks and dock adjacent to the water.

Annual Worlds Longest Weenie Roast Trip

So glad we were able to grab this cabin as it was perfect for our group. The cabin is large and perfectly located right on the lake. The weather was pretty warm so we were able to enjoy the excellent view from the deck. No complaints and would definitely recommend.

Great property, poor communication

Lovely space and location. Communication and billing did not go through VRBO even though I booked through VRBO. Email was poorly formatted and from an unrecognizable email address, so my spam folder caught it. Unfortunately, that email included details like that there would be no bedding, which we didn't know until we arrived. Email did NOT include that there would be no towels, but there were no towels. Information like check out time was inconsistent with what was advertised on VRBO. (It was earlier on the email / sheet inside the house). Overall, frustrating and uncomfortable experience at a great property.
