Denna vackra fyra sÀsongsstuga Àr byggd som en vinter- eller sommarflykt för ett par eller en liten familj och Àr ett utmÀrkt sÀtt att uppleva Northwoods of Wisconsin. Hemmet Àr mycket privat och har stor tillgÄng till sjön, skogen och omrÄdet Hayward.

Stugan ligger pÄ 3. 5 tunnland med 350 fot fasad pÄ Upper Twin Lake vilket gör en mycket privat upplevelse. Omgivningarna och utsikten Àr mycket naturliga. Huset i sig Àr av den klassiska arketypen Northwoods: 2 sovrum, 1 badrum, vedspis och gott om kök, vardagsrum, veranda och dÀckutrymme. Köket har grunderna för en stuga, sovrummen Àr mysiga och har bra sÀngar, och spisen hÄller dig varm pÄ natten. Alla möbler Àr nya frÄn vÄren 2016. Interiören uppdaterades ocksÄ vÄren 2016.

Vi har gjort utrymmet sÄ roligt som möjligt med en eldstad för att steka marshmallows, ett picknickomrÄde och en brygga för din bÄt. Bryggan ligger i en grund vik, men det finns en kanal som ansluter till huvudsjön, sÄ ponton, fiske och skidbÄtar i alla storlekar kan sÀkert parkera vid bryggan.

Hemmet ligger pÄ den nordöstra spetsen av Upper Twin Lake. Twin Lake Àr kÀnt för sin fantastiska musky- och basfiske och klara vatten. Det Àr ocksÄ stort och djupt nog för vattenskidor och slangar. Upper Twin ansluter till Lower Twin och Tiger Cat Flowage ocksÄ, sÄ det finns mycket vatten att utforska.

Om du vill koppla av privat med dina nÀra och kÀra Àr detta en plats som utstrÄlar familjetid. Oavsett om det Àr kanotpaddling pÄ sjön, Äka ut sjön till Blackiron Bar för en hamburgare, fÄnga fÀrsk fisk till middag, cykla pÄ skogsvÀgarna eller lÀsa pÄ verandan, kommer du att kunna koppla av ostörd i detta unika Northwoods retrÀtt.

The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. The host left a lot of helpful info about shopping, dining, hiking, etc. The weather was not the best and we could not enjoy the lake, but the scenery is beautiful. The only issue we had was though it is "pet friendly" there are a lot of rules that were a little restrictive when it comes to pets.

By far the best cabin we’ve stayed in - very clean, necessities stocked, perfect view and access to the lake. Woke to the song of the loons, watched the eagles fish and the otters swim from the porch. Oh and the fishing wasn’t bad either! Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing vacation. A big thanks to hosts for sharing a little piece of paradise.

Great stay at this little gem! Very tidy and comfortable. Had a visit from a friendly doe each evening. Cabin well equipped with everything we needed. Bonsey (dog) loooved surveying his vacation kingdom from the little dock!!

Great location

Nice property in a great location. Problem is there was no air conditioning and with the extensive heat at the beginning of our stay and the bad air quality due to the Canadian fires we were not able to enjoy the cabin as we would have liked. We ended up leaving one night early.

Upper Twin Lake Cabin

This northwoods cabin was nice. Check-in was super simple. The inside of the cabin was very tidy. The main reason we chose this cabin was for the enclosed porch with views of the lake. Downside, only two windows had screens which limited the lake breezes. Kayaking was good.

Gorgeous site with beautiful views from the cabin’s large front windows. Very comfortable cabin with all the amenities. The marshy area in front of the cabin by the dock had lots of wildlife including otters, mergansers, and loons. Although a bit more difficult, we had to load our kayak from the dock because of the deep mud near the shore made it impossible to step in the water. The kayaking was great on this beautiful quiet lake. Although advertised as a very private cabin on 3.5 acres, there is a rather large cabin quite close to the property which at times during our stay detracted from our privacy and the serenity.

It would be difficult to find a cottage with a better lake view than this one. It's our second time here and we love it. Very comfortable in every respect.

Lovely stay at Mellow Marsh

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this property. We have spent over 25 years vacationing in northern MN and WI at resorts and this was our first rental of a private cabin. Beautifully maintained property inside and out. On a quiet marsh that takes you to the lake, so we saw an eagle, loons, ducks, geese, and heron along with all kinds of other wildlife. Clean cabin with a well equipped kitchen and dry wood for the fireplace (rare in our experience). Great to have space between our cabin and neighbors so quiet and private. Very responsive owner. Plan to return next year!

Charming cabin on quiet lake

I and a friend had a lovely writers' retreat on this lakeside cabin with a beautiful view and a fireplace. The host responded quickly to our questions, and we felt as comfortable as if we were at home. A beautiful view from the porch and within easy driving distance from the Twin Cities.

I grew up in Hayward and love everything about the area and Northwoods experience. I fish the lakes and rivers for muskies, ski the Birkie, and have even won a few titles at the Lumberjack World Championships held in Hayward every July.

I bought this cabin in 2015 knowing that it would be a great place to get away on weekends and holidays. We also knew that it would be a great vacation rental as it is on a great lake in a great area. I work in the real estate industry as a developer/salesperson/investor, and have been renting other homes on VRBO for 10 years now, so I know what it takes to give guests the experience they are looking for.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

It is a classic cabin on a classic lake, but with an updated aesthetic. You can do it all here: boat, fish, bike, ski, swim, or just relax. The location is great, 11 miles east on 77 from Hayward, so you are close enough to town to have fun there, but far enough away to have some peace and quiet. Twin Lake is a great lake - clear, lots of fish, but not too many people with big boats pushing up wakes. It is the perfect mix of wilderness and fun. For winter time fun, the Birkie and Mukwanago ski trails are nearby as are several snowmobile trails.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The home is on a 5 acre lot, so it is very private. Other houses are a significant distance away. It is also newly remodeled and furnished as of spring 2016.
