Situated next to the Arc de Triomphe, the 17th arrondissement is slightly off the beaten track. However, if youâd like to see some of the finest architecture in Paris, then look no further. This arrondissement, without any major sites, is a story of two tales; to north-eastern end of the 17th, more commonly known as Batignolles, youâll find a relaxed bohemian atmosphere with a large variety of bars and eateries. In contrast, the south-western side of the 17th feels like an extension of the Champs ĂlysĂ©es with a large selection of midrange to high-end shops. This beautiful arrondissement is home to one of Parisâs best kept secrets like Parc Monceau, an unusually casual and relaxing park in the heart of Paris.
