Lovely cottage in a wonderful location

Lovely cottage perfect for our two night stay in Derbyshire (family of 4). Large master bedroom and twin bedroom ideal for our two boys (12 and 9). The garden and views across the countryside are fantastic. Location was ideal for visiting Bakewell and Chatsworth.

Beautiful Place

We really enjoyed our short weekend stay. The location, which was very close to Chatsowrth,. was fantastic, very peaceful and had spectacular views. Our children and our dog thoroughly enjoyed the huge garden. The cottage was very comfortable and recently refurbished had absolutely everything anybody would need. The hosts were very welcoming. I thoroughly recommend and will definitely try to return asap.

What a find! An absolute gem!

We had the most wonderful week at Barlow Grange. Magnificent weather on spectacular hikes in the Peak District, only to come back to the tranquil cottage, refresh with a dip in the pond, hours of reading on the deck and enjoying the stunning views. What a little oasis! Jo and Andy were fantastic hosts and we hope to come back next summer!

Croft Cottage is located in the grounds of our 16th &17th Century Grade II listed country house.

The accommodation is separate to the main house which we live in with our family. You will have your own entrance and there is plenty of space outside to share.

We are a Yorkshire born family, from Sheffield and further North in Harrogate. We love the rolling green of the Derbyshire hills, so close to the dramatic landscape of The Peak District.

Our home is located in an area of stunning countryside with so much to do and see, whether you fancy walking, cycling, riding or visiting the many historic sites in the area. There are also some popular bird watching sites nearby.

We enjoy walks with our family, swimming in the outdoor pool at Hathersage and cycling at the nearby Monsall Trial stoping off at Thornbridge Hall.

We are excited to offer a base for you to explore this beautiful location.

Our property is versatile and would suit both families, couples or travelling friends.

The beautiful cottage offers a luxury base for exploring the beautiful local countryside but it will also be well equipped for evenings in the garden watching the sun go down.

We have a modest pond with a little row boat, guests are welcome to float on the water with an evening tipple.

We can provide for families including babies. We offer high chairs, travel cots, baby baths and toys. The garden is a haven for children, there is a climbing frame, trampoline and lots of space to run around.

We also have high speed 100mbps internet.
