I reserved this property due to its supposed vicinity to the Milano Centrale train station. Supposed because in reality the property is in another town, outside Milan.
I came to check into the property at 9pm following the map shown on VRBO property profile, which clearly shows a couple of blocks away from Milano Centrale.
But surprisingly it is not there.
The owner didn't respond when asked for a refund and said he could not find anybody at VRBO customer service due to the late hour of the night.
I had to resolve on my own, found another place on that was REALLY close to the station.
Now I am struggling to get my money back from VRBO, since the owner says he cannot do anything about it.
I wonder who is responsible for the property profile on VRBO, is it the owner? is it VRBO or BOTH?
