Rymligt 4 sovrum hem med klassisk Tahoe charm. Chamberlands HOA w / BEACH- Stort hem i privat miljö på West Shore .. Vandringsleder för att utforska direkt utanför ytterdörren! Klassisk Tahoe-stuga med öppen trädgård. Fantastiskt läge vid västkusten på gångavstånd till Homewood Ski Resort, West Shore Cafe, Obexers Market och Homewood Marina.

Gå in i lerrummet där du kan tappa dina strandhanddukar, eller stövlar och handskar. Följ sedan rakt in i vardagsrummet där du hälsas med en eldstad och stora bildfönster med utsikt mot den stora trädgården. Den stora trädgården har inte grannar på bakgården, så du kommer att känna dig som om du befinner dig i ett lugnt utrymme medan du njuter av morgonkoppen på det stora däck.

På bottenvåningen finns två sovrum, ett badrum, vardagsrum med gott om sittplatser, matsal och kök med ytterligare en liten sittgrupp. Det stora sovrummet på bottenvåningen har en King size-säng och det andra sovrummet har en Queen size-säng.

Övre våningen har ytterligare två sovrum, ytterligare ett badrum, vardagsrum och tvättstuga. Det övre våningen sovrummet har en annan king size-säng och det fjärde sovrummet i hemmet har en king size-säng och 2 full storlek sängar. Stort rum med mycket utrymme.

Detta är ett enkelt hem som inte är över dekorerade eller moderna, men är fullt av minnen. Det finns gott om utrymme för alla att fortsätta göra en livstid av familjeminnen.

House was ok, but for the money I would expect a few things would be different. Kitchen was nice, actually all of the downstairs was nice, but the decor and some of the furniture was very outdated and garage sale-ish. None of this is a big deal, what made me give the 3 star rating, instead of 5 is that the bathroom rug downstairs was so dirty that I didn't want to step on it barefooted! Pillows were not comfortable and bed was marginal in the downstairs bedroom. Closet was so full of quilts, etc that there was no room to hang our clothes. Also, there were only 5 people in a house that would sleep 10 and we had to go buy toilet tissue on the next to last day.

This home needs major help! I understand the Retro means out dated but this was far worse. The beds, bedding, towels and cookware needed to be replaced ASAP. Definitely would not recommend this place!

Old Tahoe’s sweet spot

We like to experience Tahoe as if it were not a world class destination with all the trappings of luxury lifestyle but rather as the cozy local getaway it was known for years ago, and to a smaller extent, presently. The Tahoma, Homewood and West Shore areas generally maintain that old Tahoe vibe and we appreciate that this rental is right in the mix of it. Homewood ski resort (Keep it Local!) is a short 5 minute walk, as is the beautiful waterfront, piers, general store and dining options. We loved our stay, and felt the home was perfect for our group. Kitchen was spacious and communal with everything you would need. Sleeping rooms were comfortable and clean. I only wish we had more time, but maybe next time we visit.

Very happy at Tahoe's Retro Home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We go up to Tahoe every summer, but this was our first summer at Retro Home. We were beyond pleased. It was a lovely lay out, plenty of room, several reading nooks, well appointed, super comfortable living room, kitchen table to linger at, even following the meals, all around 5 star experience. Happy home in an excellent location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had two families and with young kids sharing this home and it was a lot of fun. The house is well set up and in a great location next to the woods and not too far from the lake. Kitchen, bathrooms & back porch looked recently remodelled which was really nice. I had to talk with the Tahoe Rental Company a couple of times and they were a pleasure to work with. The cleaning service is letting the side down - dishes have been put away dirty and floors not completely clean. Towels & sheets need to be replaced, they are old & thin. The house is that great though, that even with these issiues I'd rent again.

Retro in Chambers

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have owned or stayed in Chambers or Tahoma for 50 years. When we arrived at this property, my 36 year old son reminded me that we rented this place 29 years ago. Nothing has changed, which is "not a good thing" to quote Martha Stewart. The sheets and towels are worn out. There is too much clutter in the home. One can lose stuff amongst all the doodads. The drapes were falling of the rods in the living room. The kitchen, glassware, dinnerware and tools are old and disorganized. Lots of old spices, salts and herbs left in the cupboards way past their due date.That said, this rental is not cheap, and guests probably expect something better. The retro vibe is fine, but the place needs to be cleaned up. The management company is great and we will use again.

Birthday weekend

Me and my family had an amazing time here. The kids love it in the house very spacious. Got to see a little bear walk passed the back yard. Great place to spend a weekend with family and friends.

"Gumpy" the bear

We loved this house .It had everything we needed and the property management was great to work with.We had a bear hang around every night and morning and he just hung around so I named him gumpy.We would highly recommend this house.

Spacious and comfortable!

This house was very spacious and located in a quiet neighborhood. Our dog loved running in the small backyard with a fresh foot of snow. We stayed for a weekend wedding held at the West Lake Cafe. It was a great weekend and close walk to the lake.

Lumpy beds. Bring TP

Everything was great except for 2 things: the beds were lumpy and they provided only 6 small rolls of TP. For 8 adults for 2 nights, it was not enough!
