Wonderful!

We loved this place! Lovely and quiet place to relax, near the national park. We had some challenges getting in the house, but the owner was helpful and responsive. Great stay!

Beautiful home in the forest

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Ira Rosa in Monteverde. It is close enough to walk to the cloud forest preserve, but be sure to head down to the parking area below the house location to obtain your entrance tickets first! The home is cozy and spacious enofor a a family and has a decent kitchen to prepare your own meals. We loved it!

Great cabin in the jungle

This house was great for a laid back hangout for our family while in Monteverde. In the jungle and very close to Monteverde Cloud Forest entrance. The house had everything we needed to make meals and plenty of space for the 4 of us to spread out and relax.

Very comfortable and cute place in a perfect location!

This place was perfect for my husband and I while visiting Curicancha Reserve and Monteverde Cloud Forest. There are 3 bedrooms so there was plenty of space. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals there. The place was clean, well-supplied, and very cute. We sipped our morning coffee on the enclosed porch.My only regret is that we didn't figure out the washer situation until it was too late to line dry our clothes. My pre-stay message to the host went unanswered. Not sure why given other reviews. Overall, it was an excellent stay.reaching out again. our last day, and iI

2 nights was not enough

This place was amazing - very well appointed, very comfortable, all the amenities, and located very close to the park and downtown. Hosts were clear and responsive, check in was easy, the WiFi worked great - it looked just like the pictures and felt like you were deep in the forest. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Cozy cabin!

Our family of 2 adults and 2 teens loved this cabin. There were plenty of warm blankets and we enjoyed lighting a fire during the cooler evenings. It was so cozy that our teens wanted to return to the cabin just to relax when we had free time. The location was perfect with a short walk to the Cloud Forest.

Perfect little place in the mountains.

We really enjoyed our stay. Felt tucked right into the cloud forest. Was so nice being able to just walk up the hill to explore the Monteverde park. The fresh banana bread was such a treat. Would stay here again for sure.

Absolute jewel

A stone's throw from the park. Easy access to the town. Fantastic cottage with ample space. The roads around Monteverde are terrible but if you rent a 4 x 4, you'll be fine.

Cozy cottage in the foreat

Rustic charm, comfortable, cozy place with lots of seating areas, including a porch. Perfect landing spot between hikes and outings. Super comfortable beds. Really enjoyed our stay. Close to Monteverde Cloud forest and Curi Cancha Reserve.

Cabin in the rain forest

The location of this place was phenomenal. Just a short walk away from the entrance to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Preserve. So many windows made you feel like you were really part of the forest. Homemade banana bread from the host was a very nice touch. The only downside was the musty smell.

Amazing Monteverde stay!

The house is really comfortable and well equipped. The host was super responsive and we received fresh banana bread which was lovely! It is right next to the reserve and close to the town. Wonderful location. Highly recommend!

Magical jungle experience

One of the best VRBO listings I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. The price for this pristine location steps from the Monteverde preserve are insane. This provided a cozy, gorgeous nook in the cloud forest my party of 5 enjoyed for 2 full nights. Gabriela is extremely easy to reach for all your questions, her directions were perfect despite the crazy, rainy ( occasionally scary!!) drive to this epic setting, The entire place was SO clean , the beds were comfy and we woke to the amazing sounds of birds and forest creatures coming alive. We felt so safe and warm after playing games in the evening after hiking the forest and having one of the best lunches at TACO TACO in Monteverde. The whole experience was absolutely wonderful!!

Great location, comfortable

The house is large, clean and very comfortable. It is located right next to the entrance to the Cloud Forest reserve, which was our focus of visiting. The only drawback of this property is the under equipped kitchen.

Our stay at Casa Ira Rosa

The directions were perfect, we had no issues finding the home. What a wonderful experience! We arrived and there was delicious warm banana bread waiting for us! The home was clean, and comfortable. It felt like we were staying in a tree house which is exactly what we wanted. 10 min walk to Cafe Colibri and the Cloud Forest. We would definitely stay again!

Great house in a very nice environment

Quiet place that was more than big enough for just us two adults. We only stayed one night but it was a peaceful sleep - very quiet - and the owners even provided banana bread for us which my wife said was yummy. (Gluten allergy for me as you can see in my other reviews or I would have tried it) On directions - follow them exactly. We had some problems finding the place (it is just out of town) but literally the directions provided (first right after the Trapp place) is the one to then at. And park at the first plateau on the hill. Those are the directions but we had trouble as we doubted the lane to turn (it is very small). But a quick response to an IM from Gabriela set me straight. Very responsive host. Great stuff.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at Casa Ira Rosa and loved it! Warm banana bread was waiting for us. Lots of room! It would be ideal for families or two couples. A bit far from town, but walkable to Monteverde Reserve, Curi Cancha, and Whole Foods market. Town was a short drive.

A cabin in the forest.

We loved how close walking distance it was to the entrance to Monteverde Cloud Forest so you could avoid the hassle of trying to park. We appreciated the hosts suggestion on where to shop and dining options. Our stay was very clean, cozy and full of nighttime bird song - which lulled you to sleep. Would recommend the stay to anyone.
