Great Vacation Home in Sarasota

The stay at this cute, pet friendly home was awesome. It’s actually our 2nd time visiting this home. Perfect for 4 people and dogs had room to explore the backyard. Living space was comfortable to lounge around after a day at the beach. Kitchen was also well supplied for us to cook a Thanksgiving meal! Appreciated this great place - will be keeping it in mind for the future!

Comfortable and Convenient

Accommodates large dogs with a fully fenced privacy yard. Centrally located to everywhere and everything. The comforts and extras this property has to offer is a huge bonus.

Home Away From Home

We love this place. It is in a nice neighborhood. Close to the beach and shopping. The hot tub is very nice & the grounds were kept up nicely. The inside is very bright and comfortable. We really like the fact that our dogs can come with us. The kitchen is well stocked did not find the need to be without anything to cook with.

Rucker family vaca

We had a wonderful time and and because of hurricane Debby we spent the first 2 days here not leaving the house once during the storm!! The house is in a safe location and storm shelter approved!! Lol but the house is very nice!! All the appliances are new and nice!! We loved the showers and bathrooms!! And my wife loved having the sink and makeup station to get ready in the bedroom!! The house is wonderful and we would most definitely stay here again!! Thank you for the wonderful place to spend our vacation!!

Quiet and cosy

The house is well located 15 min drive to beaches and close to stores. The interior design is just wow when you enter. The 2 rooms have queen size confortable beds. Kitchen is well equiped. The backyard is very private. We had an exellent stay. Robert & josee

perfect vaccation

the house was very clean and had all the stuff you need, plus even some more ( like herbs to cook and coffe ...) we really enjoyed our time there and Caitlin is a very nice Lady who really cares about you and she helps you out when there is a Problem.

Spring vacation

We always have a nice stay here. About a 20 minute drive from beaches. Love the showers and beds are pretty comfy. It's nice to be able to cook all your meals there. Only thing I can recommend is maybe some new pans. Everything was great. Hope to come again another time.

The Perfect Stay

This is my most favorite place to stay! I love it so much I’ve already booked again for 2025. It’s absolutely perfect. The owner communicates so fast, it’s so clean and has everything you could possibly need with a hot tub. The location is perfect and it’s so close to so many places and beaches. It’s the perfect little piece of paradise!

Wonderful Stay!

We rented for a five-week period for the second consecutive year and again enjoyed ourselves immensely. The house is comfortable, clean, and well supplied. The location is great and the host could not be better or more responsive. A well deserved 10 out of 10!

Location. Location. Location

We loved the convenience that no matter which way we were headed for the day, it was super convenient to get there. I will be honest and say the other reviews sold me on staying here. It is very clean on a super private property. Only 10-20 minutes to any of the beaches on Siesta Key. Plus side is to get early parking at any of the beach lots and take the free trolley to where ever else you want to go/see for the day on Siesta Key. Caitlin was wonderful with answering any questions. I would definitely book here again in the future.

Clean Well Decorated Home!

Convenient location! Elise our canine enjoyed the yard and neighborhood for walks! Well equipped kitchen! Felt very private with the front fence. Wonderful two weeks! We would love to come back!

We loved staying here. Not too close yet not too far away. It was as if we lived by the beach. We enjoyed everything about the fully stocked & clean house. The hostess was a wonderful person and very considerate. Can't wait to come back and stay again.

Top Ferienhaus!!!

Vielen Dank für die großartige Unterkunft. Das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Alles was man für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt. Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war perfekt. Immer schnelle und freundliche Antworten. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Perfect Stay

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. There are a lot of kitchen appliances and other conveniences which make life much easier. Caitilin was also around to help if needed and was very friendly. The house is nice decorated and we felt like home. Thanks for hosting us ☺️

End of Summer trip.

This was our second time staying here this year. Owners are very helpful and responsive. House was great, everything was clean and more than everything you could need. We cooked all our meals in yhis trip except two. Our only downside was we had to end our stay early because of a looming hurricane, which was our decision. We hope to stay again someday.

Beyond expectations

We were thrilled when stepping into our home for the next 10 days! Very spacious, absolutely well-decorated rooms, comfy beds, modern bathrooms, nice terrace with a great hot tub, super equipped kitchen (tools, condiments), detergant at washing machine, towels, beach chairs, beach playing toys for kids etc. Felt so much at home and absolutely enjoyed our whole stay. Would have loved to extend our stay. Though we had never seen anybody face-to-face, thanks a lot, Caitlin!

Caitlin Miller is the sailor's daughter owner. She and her mom Sally embarked on saving this original florida home just one year ago. She is an amazing cyclist who travels sometimes 100 miles east of in a day. She has also has enjoyed helping on a sailboat delivery from St Martin to Sarasota. A pet lover herself, she welcomes well behaved dogs. The Sailor's Daughter is a non smoking home with many outdoor areas for that activity.
