MyStay had my creditcard nr to withdraw the rent for the flat. But in addition we were asked to pay a small amount tourist tax seperately via a link, whicg was complicated, because one could hardly realize, that you had to put in your phonenumber(!) a line, that already had a phatasy-number in. So first I failed. Also the software for the online check in was inconvenient, especially how to put in your birthdate, very time consuming. To get the information, how to get into the flat was difficult. It was sent by whatsapp, whilst all former communicatin was via email. Acces was by a numeric code. But frequent trys failed, because the lock was not taking ervery push. Finally we managed. The flat in the house was okay regarding the furniture. It had a nice veranda with e really beautiful view across the Douro river. But in the bathrooms there was a bad smell from the canalisation. Also there was mold in one of the 2 bathrooms. The beds were okay, with one blanket for two persons. The door handles were loose, one almost fell off. The kitchen equipment was poor and not clean. The pan was in terrible condition.One should not have the intention to cook a meal.There were even 2 TVs which we did not use.Our conclusion: we will never again rent by MyStay!
