Oh it’s an amazing place to stay. The home is clean, comfortable and well maintained. The Host was super friendly and accommodating. We felt very much at home. The neighborhood walkability is the cherry on top. Food market, cafe and coffee is a short walk away. And then the hiking trail is right around the corner. Perfect!

Great location! Nice neighborhood with easy walk to amenities and trails. Easy drive to the national park. Take the Old Fall River Road to the top at RMNP if it is open. We saw moose and elk and many amazing views on the way to 12,000 ft. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice neighborhood for a short stay

Took my niece on her first trip to the mountains, and Al had my first trip to Boulder. This house is older, but well maintained and in a nice neighborhood. The owner couldn’t have been more accommodating and we had everything that we needed. (We didn’t do any cooking so I can’t speak to that, but kitchen seemed well stocked.) Not knowing the area, I might have chosen a different area of town for our personal needs, but I can see how it would be ideal for visiting the university. Note: the bedrooms are both upstairs and so is the bathroom, in case you have any mobility concerns. Thanks Merrin for a nice stay!

It’s the little things!

It’s nice to be in a place that has all the little things already there for you. The owner thought of putting the little things you might forget to bring available for you to use. Having only visited Boulder once or twice before, it amazes me that in a residential area there are bunnies everywhere, and a few passing deer even crossing the street! Quiet and relaxing.

Great location and comfortable property

We enjoyed at our stay at The Riverside House. Great location with a little shopping center to walk to and easy to get to University of Colorado. House was very comfortable for 3 or us to stay in for graduation week!

Cute, clean and cozy house in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Merrin the host was very responsive to our needs.The extra amenities are beyond the normal house rental and very much appreciated. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in Boulder.

Best Yet!

I've been visiting Boulder every 6-8 weeks for a year now since my daughter moved there from the east coast. By far this is my favorite place to stay! The owner was prompt to reply and thoughtful in communication. The property was perfect for our needs. And the location was ideal, being less than a mile from my daughter. We will for certain look to stay again and again.

Heart meets home

Our family’s summer trip to Boulder would not have been the same without the experience of staying in the Riverside house. Not only is the property beautiful and inviting from the outside, but comforting and comfortable on the inside too. We particularly loved the back deck where we could see tomato plants growing and hear the babble of the tiny brook that runs right below the property. My daughter and husband loved playing the piano, we loved the board games, and the amply-stocked pantry made us feel like guests instead of renters. I loved looking at all the books they had, from children’s to nutrition to sustainability. The pottery was beautiful and unique. The crowning glory for me was the access to Wonderland Lake and the Boulder Bike trail, which was a .2 mile walk from the neighborhood. I am a runner and having access to this trail and the lake path made my mornings delightful. The market, also .2 miles away, provided everything we needed, food and treat wise. I love this place and will always remember the peace, joy, and tranquility it brought while staying there.

Great stay!!

The house is clean, spacious and very well equipped. Wonderful large kitchen, bathroom supplied with lovely soaps and lotions. Pretty, quiet neighborhood with trees and birdsong. A short walk to Wonderland lake. We had fun watching the paragliders swooping down from the hills. Altogether a terrific stay.

Graduation

Second time staying in this VRBO while visiting our son at CU Boulder. Quiet neighborhood which is very close to Pearl St Mall and the Hill. House is perfect for 2-4 people. Comfortable, clean, and kitchen well stocked for those who want to cook.

Immaculate house in peaceful surroundings!

We absolutely cannot say enough about this property and our host Merrin. She called the day of our arrival to give us all kind of interesting information on the neighborhood, including local grocery stores and restaurants, as well as a beautiful walk just minutes down the road where you could see the fall colors framed by the mountains! The whole neighborhood was lovely, lots of walkers, very safe, quiet, a little river ran through the neighborhood and I saw deer and rabbits on my morning walks! The house is so comfortable, a cozy glowing stove at night in the living room, easily adjustable temps, immaculately clean (the carpet had just been steam cleaned prior to arrival!), a lovely back deck and front porch where we spent many a relaxed hour! Merrin makes you feel completely at home and we highly recommend this house to everyone. There are stairs to the bathroom and bedrooms but my parents are both 80 and there were absolutely no issues at all.

Quiet, great location

We really enjoyed our stay here. Lots to do! We hiked the Royal Arch trail (approx 10-15 min away) and it was spectacular! Lucky's bakery & market are a few minutes away. The kitchen is well stocked, comfortable beds and a nice deck off the back for outside dining. There's also a nice walking loop around a lake that you can access at the end of the street. There were a few deer wandering around the neighborhood so that was fun to see. Great communication from Merrin the property owner as well!

Great Stay at Riverside House

My husband and I had a great stay at the Riverside House in North Boulder. The online description was spot on and the house and location did not disappoint. The house has a serene, restful ambiance and is well appointed. There were ample towels and linens available and the beds were great. The kitchen was well stocked with herbs and condiments available for use. The kitchen and living area open onto a spacious deck and a beautiful wooded yard adjacent to a babbling stream that can lull you to relaxation or sleep. The Riverside House is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood that is easy walking distance to a market, coffee shop, liquor store and several small restaurants. The house is just minutes away from a trail that encircles beautiful Wonderland Lake and we loved our walks there each morning, ending with a delicious latte from Logans Coffee Shop. Merrin, was a wonderful, welcoming host who was readily available, if needed. We recommend this home and would definitely stay again when visiting North Boulder.

Quiet Boulder Home

Excellent location, 5 minute drive to Pearl Street, hiking trail and bike paths steps away from front door, sit on the porch listening a burbling stream and watch deer graze. Owner is excellent with communication, kitchen is well equiped.

My family truly enjoyed this home, and it was a perfect home base for us to go on several college tours. The home is cozy and welcoming, and our host reached out to make sure we had everything we needed. We would love to come back!

Beautiful Summer Week in Boulder

We had a wonderful stay. The house is in a quiet location in North Boulder and close to great outdoor activities, dining and shopping. The kitchen is well appointed and the host amazing. will come again.

Beautiful neighborhood

This is a quiet treelined neighborhood. Babbling brook in the back that was wonderful to sleep to. Decks front and back. All amenities were thoughtful and appreciated. Short walk to terrific coffee and donuts.

It has seen many years and chapters of my life. My husband and I are anticipating wonderful travels in our Airstream, and want to share The Riverside House with you while we are on our own adventures.

It is in a quiet, residential neighborhood, complete with kind neighbors, and has views of a gorgeous, private park with a gentle stream running through it. The feeling of spaciousness and nature grace this home, inside and out.

Nestled in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, The Riverside House enjoys both a sense of natural spaciousness and a proximity to fabulous conveniences. Your eyes rest on the views of trees, park, and open space as you dine or sit at the kitchen counter. Only a half block to the west, you will walk under a tunnel and emerge with a well-deserved sigh as you take in uninterrupted views of meadow and mountain. The gentle trail embraces Wonderland Lake and you have opportunity to wander beyond (if you want to make a more ambitious hike of your morning stroll). A short, 5-minute walk south finds all the desired conveniences of grocery, coffee shop, bakery house, dry cleaners, breakfast cafe, liquor store, Chinese, Italian, Mexican restaurants, and more.
