Sitt på den stora täckta bakre verandan och njut av att se på gäss och ankor medan du grillar och kyler. Stor plan gård för att parkera båtar och bilar. Enkel åtkomst till 2 fria båtramper inom några miles från huset (Buddle Creek utanför Holloway Church Road och Wildlife Recreation Area Access för den stora sjön); High Rock Lake Marina i närheten för gas och leveranser är öppet året runt. Pontoon båtuthyrning finns på Marina maj-september. (Mol). Dock 3 båtar. Utmärkt BBQ bara 2 miles. Shopping och restauranger i närheten i Lexington. Kajak, kanot, fisk, paddle board, skidor, jet ski, ponton och bara njuta av sjön. Turnera vingårdar och bryggerier.

Family Visit

Was a great place to stay while visiting family in Lexington. If we ever come during the summer would definitely try to rent again.

Cozy home

We like to fish. It needed electricity at the dock to plug in the batteries on the boat. It was a clean and comfortable home.

Vacation

We have never been to High Rock Lake prior to this stay. We were looking for pet friendly and a place to bring our boat. We had no way to know the weather would be off the week after Memorial Day. The house and location were great. Plan on cooking and eating in unless you want to travel 20 minutes or more for anything other than diner food. It was fine for us since we couldn’t leave our dog alone. We hope to visit again and hope for better weather. The house has the amenities we needed. The host was quick to respond with any questions. The house does have lots of steps to the lake (47); however we navigated with no problems.

I am a licensed Realtor in NC. One of our favorite past times is boating. Our dogs love to go "pontooning" (you can rent a pontoon boat down the shoreline with High Rock Lake Marina). We love to relax on the back deck with friends and family and enjoy the view of the lake with all it's wildlife viewing and entertainment. The swim ladder off the dock is a gradual step ladder for ease of access (dogs too). The back deck is very comfortable for dining, lounging and enjoying the view.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I bought this property because I love lake living. I especially enjoy boating (pontooning); relaxing on the large back deck with my favorite beverage and a good book. We thoroughly enjoy hanging out watching the geese and ducks fly by as well as all the other birds and fish jumping. Grilling and chilling on the covered deck is my idea of a good relaxing time.

This home is located on the main channel. There are two free boat ramp launches just down Highway 8; Buddle Creek for this side of the bridge and Wildlife Recreation Area for the large part of the lake. Rock Outdoors sells fishing licenses. Several decks to sit and enjoy the lake and all the recreation you choose to enjoy. Easy access to restaurants (area is known for it's BBQ), shopping, movie theaters, vineyards, breweries, museums and many other items of interest. Property has cable and internet.
