Wonderful getaway

My family and I rented this place as a getaway for our son’s 4th birthday!We had a great time the kids played in the water at the ramp area and we put our boat in at a boat ramp nearby and parked it beside where the kids played.It did get shallow at the end of the cove but for a pontoon it was no issues I believe depth finder was saying 6 ft.We also did a little fishing and really enjoyed our time.I would stay again!

Great location

Stayed here for proximity to lake boat landing. The property had everything we needed, great layout. Good outside space and ability to fish off the dock was a bonus.

Fishing with Grandson

We enjoyed this little house. Quite peaceful. Just fishing. Catch couple large catfish. And watched the turtles lay on a log.

Location was easy to find and clean. We stayed while visiting family at Christmas. Would recommend to family to stay.

Weekend Trip

Our stay was great!!! The weather helped to make enjoying the deck wonderful. We were able to grill out the whole weekend. The home was very comfortable. We had everything we needed. We didn't have to reach out to the host much, but when we did she was very responsive. This was a wonderful stay. We hope to stay again when in the area.

Convenient

This is our third time staying at this residence. We use it for our fishing tournaments every year. There are lots of other choices, however this particular house fits all of our needs.

Great Place!

Our family of 4 had a great time at this place! The location is perfect- 15 min to town and only 9 min from the boat landing. We caught several nice catfish from our dock using chicken liver. This place is much cuter inside than out. A simple sprucing up of the outside would make it 10/10 for me! I really wanted to mow/weedeat and do some quick landscaping, but that's just me. The queen mattress is extremely firm and screeches with every move. Other than that, it's perfect!

Could be nice but needs upgrades and cleaning

The property is in a good location, however, it needs some serious repair work. The outside deck areas are work and broken, the landscaping is in poor shape, and most importantly the cabin just didnt feel clean. Stained furniture, dirty couch and chairs and the bed, came with no sheets on it, (we put them on) but the mattress cover didnt look clean at all. Needs some major cleaning, new furniture that isnt dirty, and some repairs and landscaping. Last of all, the bed is obviously old and not comfortable at all, sinks in in the middle. Wont stay in this cabin again.

Cute and Cozy High Rock Lake Get-A-Way! This is my first time using VRBO. This property makes you purchase "insurance". This was new to me, when i tried to contact the host to see if this was optional, no response. I tried once again to contact the host, nothing. The property was clean, it felt comfortable. Most of the furniture was older, however that didn't bother me EXCEPT the queen size bed. After the first night i ended up sleeping on the couch as my brother needed the twin harder mattresses. If there was anything to be upgraded it would be that worn out mattress. Getting sleep is always tricky in a new environment, but add bad sleeping accomadations makes for less than a good time. It took a day for my back to readjust. The outlet doesn't work in the bathroom. We were left a single roll of toilet paper for our 3 day stay. Cute and cozy

Very cute and cozy little house. We loved the deck overlooking the lake. We will definitely book again in the future should our fishing adventures bring us to High Rock Lake.
