Njut av lukten och utsikten över havet med en 5 minuters promenad till den vackra Old Orchard Beach. Beläget på en lugn bostadsgata och bara 10 minuters promenad till stadspiren och Palace Playland. Ursprungligen besökte stugan under många somrar av Rudy Vallee. Ett kvarter från tvättomat, restaurang, närbutik, minigolf; fyra kvarter från tågstationen. Av gatuparkering finns. Allt som behövs för att ha en avkopplande och rolig flykt.
Stort, soligt däck, kombinerat komplett kök och vardagsrum, 2 sovrum på tredje våningen. Modernt, bekvämt vardagsrum med bäddsoffa. Queen size-säng i master room. Övrigt sovrum med rullande säng (2 tvillingar) och kabel-TV och WiFi. Charmig, privat, ren och bekväm. Utmärkta recensioner från mina gäster. The description online says “Ocean views” however, you can only see a very tiny bit of the ocean when looking out your window when you are on the third floor of the house. In the description of the property under “laundry”, it says “coins”leading you to believe there is a washer and dryer that you can use on the property with coins. There is not a washer and dryer at all. That should have clearly stated no. Additional the portable fans were extremely dusty. We could have used the fans as it was very warm when we visited.

Nice apartment well located

Well located with only a small walk to the beach. A kitchen well equipped and BBQ to make our own meals. A large living room for everyone to relax. We appreciated our stay here at OOB.

Great stay

We had a great time! The house was a short walk to everything we needed with 4 kids. It was great being in a home rather than a hotel so we didn’t have to order out every day. The host was very helpful and informative!

Family trip to Old Orchard Beach

The rental was cute and had everything we needed. A few minute walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and park. We stayed after Labor Day so the town was pretty quiet, but that was actually great for us since we had our 19 month old daughter with us. The rental itself is on the upper floor of the house so expect stairs, but it also has a nice deck for when the weather is nice. The owner Allison was easy to communicate with.

We loved our visit over Labor Day weekend in old Orchard Beach Maine. The owner of the property,Allison, is very friendly and welcoming and although I am very familiar with the area, I know that she would be happy to answer any questions for visitors. The property itself was very comfortable, very clean, well appointed, and the location is extremely Convenient to the beach as well as the fun and festivities at old Orchard. I highly recommend renting this property.

Charming cottage within walking distance to everything

Our family of 5 greatly enjoyed our week at this well maintained beach house. The two levels of living space allowed everyone too spread out when there was time to relax. The small kitchen was completely functional and we cooked a few meals using the varied assortment of provided pots, pans and utensils. With two couches and additional chairs, the cozy living room was still spacious enough for family game night and watching movies together. We loved being able to walk to the beach in just about 5 minutes every day. It was also a quick walk to play mini-golf as well. Be warned, with several rail crossings nearby, the tracks that parallel the shore line are active and you may be slightly annoyed by how loud the train horn is. Although, I suspect this is the case for any home on the east side of town. The owner was friendly and helpful, both via communications and in-person on site, but also gave us all the space we needed.

CT Girls

This was perfect for our girls trip. It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach and about 1 mile from the amusement park and good restaurants. It was very comfortable and clean and in a quiet part of town. It’s not on the ground floor so there is a flight of stairs to get to it. Our host, Allison, was so helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Close to beach house

This was a great place to stay in Old Orchard Beach. It was a short walk to the beach. A bit longer walk into town. The house was well equipped with items for cooking, beach, bedding. And Alison was very nice, helpful.

Excellent location!! Great Host!

Alison's place was perfect for our family of 4. Very close to the beach as well as Pirates Cove Mini Golf. Only a 1/2 mile walk to the pier and palace playland. Alison was very attentive and the place is stocked with everything needed and more. My wife and kids wanted to make homemade lemonade....she even had a lemon squeezer. It was extremely hot the week we were there, so it was a little uncomfortable on the main floor without ac. Other than that we had a great stay!! Thanks again Alison!!

Great place! Awesome host!

What a nice clean place! It was completely decked out with everything we could possibly need. And very convenient to both the Old Orchard Beach Pier area and other less crowded locations. It worked out perfect for adults and teenage kids cycling in and out. Alison was super friendly and helpful and had great recommendations for activities and places to eat.

This location was only a short walk to the beach, stores, restaurants and amusement park. Everything you can think of needing to bring with you is already in the space. Alison was quick to respond to needs and information.

Great Spot

We had a wonderful stay at this property and Alison was an amazing host. She greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour and showed us how to use appliances, etc. Property was very clean and well maintained. It is a short walk to the beach and pier. Would highly recommend for those with a family. There is also a grill and little outdoor seating space with fire pit which was a great hangout area. We were able to use the Radio Flyer wagon for the beach which was super helpful to carry all of our beach gear. We would reserve again. Thanks Alison for everything!!

Great beach house - Helpful host, good location!

The house was comfortable, well-maintained, and well-stocked with amenities. It's just a short walk to the beach, and a longer but doable stroll to the Pier. Alison was there to welcome us and available if we needed anything. We were only there for the weekend, but we wished we could stay longer!

A week at the beach with grandchildren

This is the perfect place to relax with family you don't see very often. There is a wagon and chairs for days in the sun. There is a deck or living room space to sit and catch up from months gone by. Also in the area are a couple ice cream places and restaurants to go out for the evening. There is not a lot of extra play area for rainy days be we didn't have any of those in our week. Alison gave us some sparklers for the grandsons entertainment one evening. She made the in and out very easy and answered questions whenever we had one. I'd stay again another summer and might stay a couple extra days for just my wife and me to sit and read in the salt air.

I am so fortunate to be able to live in this paradise. Although the summers are the period of high demand I also love the solitude of winter with the thundering waves and snow shoeing on the beach. I take pride in the accommodations and comfort of my guests.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The location is perfect. Close to the beach but 'far from the madding crowd'. Built more than 100 years ago with sturdy structure and materials. I have taken care to preserve the charm while incorporating updates such as the hardwood floors, new windows, granite countertop, etc. It was once the summer cottage for Rudy Vallee when he was playing at the pier during the big band era. Since he also wrote the University of Maine (my alma mater) theme song, I have a strong affiliation for this home.
