Detta är ett vackert 2100 kvadratmeter Colorado hem med ny färg inifrån och ut och nya möbler. Köket var bara ombyggt och läggs till toppen av Kenmore apparater, granit och plattor. Bara 10 minuter från Monarch Mountain-skidområdet ligger historiska Salida och Arkansas-floden i skuggan av Mt Shavano.

Den här egenskapen är centralt beläget bara några minuter från hundratals vandrings-, cykel-, ATV- och jeep-spår och till Arkansas-floden med över 9 forsränningsföretag som är specialiserade på att navigera floden upp till och inklusive forsar i klass 5. Arkansas är också känd för fiske och kajakpaddling och är värd för många konkurrerande sportevenemang per år.

Gångavstånd från ytterdörren är Mountain Spirit Winery, ett härligt måste besöka på södra gaffeln av floden Arkansas.

Great location - even better Cabin!

The Shavano Vista was a fabulous spot for our family vacation. It was the perfect location to do all the things we had planned and the property itself was maintained perfectly. Amazing must stay

My family and I went rafting nearby and stayed at this incredible home — we loved it so much we hardly wanted to leave! The house was spotless, spacious, and had absolutely stunning views. The property manager was fantastic and stayed in touch throughout the entire process. This place is truly a gem. A must-stay if you’re in the area!

Beautiful Home

We had a fantastic visit here. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable, and has incredible views. All pictures and descriptions of the property are accurate. Very convenient to get to Salida and Monarch. Great place for families with young children. The owner is very communicative and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Great Location

This was the perfect spot for our family to go skiing. We will stay again. We read all the past reviews and they were accurate. Nicely furnished, great deck and room for all of us. Love having the 3 bathrooms and the room with bunk beds, besides the rooms shown in the pictures. Beautiful view was a bonus!

Great stay

Had a great time staying at the property. Beautiful location in fall. Kids loved the bunk beds. Close to Mount Princeton Hot Springs for a nice day trip. Property had everything we needed for a family dinner!

Lovely getaway

We truly enjoyed our time here again this year. The layout of the house is wonderful for multiple families and the location is great, just a short drive to Monarch Mountain and downtown Salida. Hope we can stay with you again!

This home is owned by Firehouse Vacation Properties LLC and Thomas/Tommie Hixson and Brian/Laura Cudaback. Brian and Thomas recently retired from the fire service where each spent over 30 years. The Cudaback’s and Hixson’s have skied at Monarch Mountain for over 25 years before becoming homeowners just minutes from the mountain. We are passionate about providing a comfortable living space where families can compile as many memories as we have in and around Salida.

We are still amazed at the beauty as we sit on the large patio and look toward the west. The sunsets are unmatched by anywhere in the world. ATV/hiking trails and within walking distance from the front door.
