Discover Wimbledon from our bright, airy flat that is 50 yards from the award-winning, historical South Park Gardens.
Located in a very safe residential area, yet it's just a 7-minute walk from the town centre and a 30-minute walk from the Tennis. Local landmarks like New Wimbledon Theatre and Polka Theatre for children are within easy reach, as is the Tennis Museum. The town centre offers excellent shopping facilities and myriad cuisines and pubs. Walk up the hill and you’ve arrived at the quaint Village with its charming cafés and restaurants. Wimbledon Common, with its extensive canopy of trees and multiple ponds, is a scenic stroll from the village.
Transportation-wise, Wimbledon is unique for London with Two surface train lines, underground (District Line) and trams - all nestled in one station - and you can get from our flat to central London in less than half an hour. We are almost as close to South Wimbledon underground station (on a different underground line, the Northern Line).
The space
There flat has its own front door and can sleep 4 comfortably (up to 5, see below). The smoke-free property features a large living room (with sofa bed), a large master bedroom, a smaller bedroom with a single bed, a bathroom and a kitchen. The flat is south facing, so the sun lights up the master bedroom and kitchen in the morning, then moves to the living room and small bedroom by the afternoon.
The living room is equipped with a three-seater sofa, a sofa bed, occasional chairs and a, as well as a 65-inch Smart TV and a fold out dining table that comfortably seats four. Although the master bedroom has a super-king-sized bed, there’s still plenty of room for a corner workstation; there are spacious closets/wardrobe, too. The smaller bedroom has a single bed with amenities. The bathroom is brand-new with fixtures including a high-seat WC, Bidet and an L-shaped bath with a double shower. The kitchen, too, is well-equipped with many new appliances and a coffee table. There is a newly installed high-tech boiler and central heating system, a Hive thermostat console and CO monitor.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire flat.
Please note there are 4 beds: two in master bedroom and a bed each in second bedroom and the living room.
The sofa bed in the living room, 110 cm wide and defined as a Double bed, can sleep two people but it can be a bit tight. Please see picture and decide.
