Great stay at Copper!

This condo at Copper Lodge is nothing but class! Spacious. Clean. Comfortable. Within walking distance of Center Village for restaurants and other shops. The windows on the Condo face and open to a natural stream with mountain views in all directions. Would stay here again when opportunity presents itself. Thank You!

Love the place

Our family loved staying here. We have 3 littles and being this close to the lifts and to the other activities in center village was a game changer. Host was very responsive with and questions we had. I would for sure recommend this penthouse.

Was a very nice place, right by the ski lifts. We stayed during the summer and had mountain bike races during our stay and was a blast.

Perfect spot at Copper

Loved this spot. Easy walking to everything. Kept our skis in the locker in parking garage and then walked outside from there and skied over to the lift. Condo was nice had everything we needed for our stay.

Perfect location

This condo is beautifully renovated and the location is absolutely perfect. The maintenance of the building overall is exceptional. The fireplace puts off true heat. The couches are comfortable. The area to put all your ski gear is actually large enough to accommodate a family. We really enjoyed our stay and were impressed with our experience.

Updated condo in great location

The rental process was very smooth. Very helpful to have a keypad lock in order to make the check-in process very smooth. Condo was in very good condition. A minor complaint would be the limited pieces of silverware (spoons).

Not as expected

The property was not exceptional or luxurious as promised. The beds were uncomfortable, the bedding poor quality, the bedlinen was ripped and stained and had to be changed but was replaced with tired, old bedlinen. The towels were mostly old and grey. The biggest problem was that it was listed as 3 bedroom but actually had 2 bedrooms and a loft area. This was not what we were looking for and it was not obvious unless you scrolled to the last few photos. It did not have wood floors, it had linoleum and a lot of the cups were chipped. It was really disappointing and not worth the money we paid.

Was great all around with only a few things you might need to know

This property was great with a few little need to knows. The stairs are a very steep, tight and short railing spiral staircase, the only reason I bring this up is if you have little kids (bunks on the second floor) or someone with a bad knee like my father in law or 6’4 and 250 lbs like my husband they might not be ideal. Also they are in the walkway by the kitchen to the living room so they are easy to hit your head on. We attached snap back hats to the railings so we would walk around them. The king bed is upstairs and the bunk beds are upstairs that share a bathroom. The bunks are in the hall/loft so it’s great to have the beds but no privacy if you have little ones that need quite to go to bed early. My 18 year old and 21 year old slept there and just dealt with it but sharing the bathroom was not easy. The only other problem we had with 6 people was the seating in the living room was more for like 4 to 5 people so we just moved 2 of the chairs by the fireplace over to the living room area.

We would stay again

Copper Mountain is our go-to ski resort each season. We've stayed at The Lodge at Copper several times. We chose this unit for the amount of space it offers. We were skiing with another couple, so having a bedroom on each floor gave us more privacy. The kitchen is large (three of us could be in it at one time prepping food). The fireplace was wonderfully warm when we came in after hours on the slopes. The photos are shot at an angle, so this looks a bit bigger than it really is. But still lots of space. We loved the area at the entry for all of our boots, coats, gloves etc. The lower level bedroom doesn't have a true dresser. It's a half version, but got the job done. The lower level bedroom wall is next to the lock off unit noted in the description. If you rent, know you can hear anyone who stays next door. Had we known, we would have rented that unit too. We found few glitches/fixes needed and notified the property manager, thus the four star total rating. Emily and Jasmin are easy to communicate with and responsive. We would stay here again!

Convenient, Classy, and Cozy for a Ski-in Ski-out Condo!

Always love staying at our favorite unit in The Lodge at Copper Mt.! It perfectly accommodates our family of six! And we usually rent the adjacent smaller unit for a single family member. So easy to wake up, have breakfast, and jump on the lift. And whenever anyone wants to take a break, it’s a simple ski run back to the condo. Located within minutes of walking to Center Village.

Great Location!

We had a more novice skier with us and the place was perfectly situation on the side of the mountain with the most green and blue runs. We could ride the same lifts and when he was done, he could easily retreat back to the condo. Plenty of common space for a large group as well.

Awesome experience for our wedding

We utilized this space as a place for friends and family of the groom to gather to get ready for our wedding and then as a place for us to stay for two nights following the wedding. It was excellently decorated and updated, had plenty of room, and felt clean and comfortable. We loved our stay and highly recommend it to anyone considering!

Great location

My only complaint was the cleanliness, lots of dust bunnies in corners and as you walk up the stairs you can see on top of the cabinets and it was filled with dust. The sliding glass door surround upstairs seemed to possibly have mold on it and the bedding of the main bedroom upstairs was discolored. Other than that, we liked the set up of the place, and my girls loved the little bunks. The location was great, and made stopping at the condo for lunch mid day really easy. Communication was wonderful, and the owners were very kind. Even when we accidentally left with a locker key in our coat, haha. Would recommend this place, especially if they take note of the changes in cleanliness.

As Hurricane Katrina refugees, we sought higher ground... much higher. Though residents of Denver for almost twenty years, we have been enjoying skiing/boarding for decades. Now with two children we still love to hit the slopes and take advantage of all of the activities that Copper Mountain has to offer.
