Om Shell Seekers Retreat: Vi älskar beachcombing och tycker att denna plats är mycket lugn - och därmed föddes namnet "The Shell Seekers Retreat"! Det stora sovrummet har en queen size-säng, en rymlig garderob, stor byrå och TV med kabel / roku / netflix åtkomst. Det finns också direkt tillgång till badrummet. Det andra sovrummet innehåller en full säng, med en mindre byrå och en stor garderob. Tillgång till badrummet är tvärs över hallen. Med en mikrovågsugn, bänkugn, kaffebryggare, grytor, stekpannor och disk - köket har allt du behöver för att njuta av en måltid hemma. Tvättservice finns på huvudnivån. Vårt hem har höghastighetsinternetstjänst Xfinity Blast och 100+ kabelkanaler med HBO och Showtime. Du kan också använda dina Roku-, Netflix- eller Hulu-inloggningar för att titta på dina favoritprogram på 49-tums Smart TV.

Om platsen: Forest Ridge Village är ett mycket lugnt område med pool, tennisbanor och mycket grönytor. Det är också bara en kort promenad till 13 miles av den vita sandstranden. Amelia Island erbjuder många möjligheter för cykling, fågelskådning, golf och fiske. Egan's Creek Waterway är också en utmärkt plats att promenera - vi ser ofta sköldpaddor, hägrar och alligatorer. I Fort Clinch State Park kan du gå tillbaka in i 1864 när soldater återupptar livet under inbördeskriget. Fort Clinch erbjuder också en 6 mil lång flerfunktionsspår och 3 mil strandlinje - perfekt för avskalning och hajtandjakt! Den historiska stadskärnan i Fernandina har viktoriansk era arkitektur, en mängd butiker och alla slags restauranger som du kan tänka dig. Njut av några lokala räkor, åka på en flodkryssning eller bara promenera med en glass kon och njut av ölivet!

Om oss: Vi har rest på Floridas östkust i många år. När vi upptäckte Fernandina, blev vi omedelbart kär och beslutade att vi skulle gå i pension här en dag.

Great location to beach and downtown

House was wonderfully clean and very well stocked. Easy parking in front of condo. Loved the short walk to beachfront for sunrise walks. Enjoyed getting some sun by the pool facilities.Downtown is a quick drive away for nice visit to shops and great restaurant choices. Recommend this condo and the area, overall!

Top Notch Vacay!!

We truly loved staying at this great condo. Not only did the pix online look just like the condo when we got there, but it was even better in person. The condo was super spacious and quiet and literally a short walk to the beach (take the short cut, you'll thank me later). Not only was the condo also well prepared for your stay, but the kitchen had everything you would need if you decide to cook. Tony and his wife Peg are wonderful communicators and even reached out to us during the storm to make sure we were okay, how thoughtful. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely! Perfect!

This is the cleanest vacation rental that we've ever stayed in! The owners really take excellent care of this property!! The condo is lovely and very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are super comfy. We loved that it is a very short walk to the beach. We love to surf and easily walked our boards to the beach every day. There is a nice wooden raised walkway path with a shower on the way to the beach to rinse off (and rinse boards off). The on-site pool is very nice, too. Hope to visit here again!! The owners are kind, helpful, and very responsive. I also had to work remote and the wifi is fast and reliable.

Great place great owner

We checked in the beginning of Jan left towards the end of Feb . This is the second time we stayed here we loved the place it is clean and convenient to both our relatives who lived on the island. Tony is an excellent host . Anything you need or have questions about he is right there to help even though he doesn’t live close If we come back we will definitely inquire about his prior again

Nothing short of amazing..

We loved our stay!! The condo is even better than described.. Host was very polite and responsive, we had ZERO issues, but just some basic local knowledge questions and he responded very quick. Amenities were top notch, condo very well kept up, all appliances, etc worked great.. Honestly there was absolutely nothing about this property that wasn't top notch 5 stars.. Just a side note if you like pizza we suggest Townies Pizza 5 mins from condo. Also Cedar River seafood 3 mins away was great very downhome feel.. If you are looking... STOP and reserve this one.. Thanks you for the amazing place!

Best place we’ve stayed!

We’ve been coming to Amelia island for 4 years now and this has been our favorite experience so far! We were all impressed with the quality of the condo and the helpfulness of the hosts, and thankful that it’s so reasonably priced! It’s a nice and easy walk to the beach and very close to the pool/tennis courts. We didn’t have any real issues and the one minor thing (that was the homeowners association’s mistake not the owners’) was resolved quickly and easily. We definitely plan to book again next summer!

Incredible stay

We want to thank Tony and Peg for the opportunity to stay at their condo in Fernandina Beach. We celebrated our 33rd anniversary and had an awesome first time on Amelia Island. The owners answered many questions that we asked after booking. They are very thorough with the description of the condo. We had close walking proximity to the beach. The condo itself was clean and as many others have stated, it truly has everything you would need on a stay away from home. I can’t say enough about the accommodation. A very comfortable bed, all possible cookware/kitchenware, great location to downtown, the beach, and Fort Clinch. We are grateful for being allowed to stay at this vacation home!

First snowbird experience

Tony is Wonderful host His place is very wells located in Fernandina Beach We we’re able to walk in the ocean every day or go to Eden’s creek or walk in the Road The place was spotless and wome up to no power one day ao we had to email him and he was quick to respond We enjoyed it so much we rebooked for next year

Everything as advertised and more!

The condo was so welcoming with all the comforts of home. It was sparkly clean in a quiet setting with close beach access. I cannot imagine a nicer place to land after 24 hours of travel and being out of the country for three years. A real welcome back to the USA. Thank you, Tony.

Lovely Condo

Everything was spotless, organized, and convenient . The pool was very nice and never crowded and the beach a short walk away. We wished we had more time to relax in our quiet little oasis but we were visiting family for a sad occasion. The owners are great and responded very quickly to my request. Paradise!

We stayed in Amelia Island and enjoyed this peaceful and very nice townhome. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and loved the pool! The townhome is very clean and has everything you need for your visit!

Peaceful, quiet, family oriented, & not touristy

The condo, beach, & town were all peaceful, relaxing & not touristy. The condo was immaculate, up to date, and well furnished with everything we needed. The beach was a short walk away & the pool was very nice too. There are plenty of good restaurants & nice shops on the island,,very few of the touristy beach shops you see in most beach towns. We like the quiet, family oriented feel that this town and condo both have & will definitely go back.

Wonderful affordable center located townhouse on fernandina beach

Wonderful property, has everything you need. Very affordable. Close to drive on beach which is important if you have young kids or elderly. There is a “walkable” beach access about 5-10 minute walk from property across street to A1A but not feasible if you have a family with young kids and lots of stuff but thankful right across the street is the main access point to drive and park on beach for free which worked wonderfully for us

Very nice, roomy, well equipped unit, in well treed development, convenient to pool and about 10 minute walk to beach. Communication with hosts Tony and Peg was easy and timely. People should be aware there are a lot of stairs from the parking area to unit and from 1st to 2nd fl of unit where bedrooms & shower are, which could be challenge for older or physically limited guests.

Everything was perfect. I felt like I was home. The community was amazing and the walk to the beach was so short and perfect.
