If I could leave 0 stars I would , from the beginning of our stay. We paid for earlier check in which was supposed to be at 1:00p. I contacted the host early in the week and the day of asking when we would receive the code. And he never sent. Said he confirmed the 1:00p check in. However, we arrived after a 2 hr drive and had to stand on the porch for 30 minutes after trying to contact him multiple times for the code. This house has 4 units and EVERY PERSON BOOKED had the same issues. His communication was TERRIBLE. if you’re going to charge someone for early check in then he should have been on it. Going into our unit.. it is disgusting. Dirty. And disturbing that he is renting this unit out to anyone and should be embarrassed. #comical they have a tip jar sitting out hahahahahahhahaa what a joke .. see below pics. They don’t do it justice. Cobwebs. Dirt. Probably mold. Stinks. Ceiling cracking. No vent covers. Bathroom sink doesn’t drain. broken blinds . Didn’t even attempt the shower. Mattress.. barf. Stove, wanted coffee this morning but was scared to even use the coffee pot .. . I’m not sure if I can go on.. I wouldn’t ever recommend to anyone. Good luck

Our stay was wonderful. The house was very cozy and clean. The neighborhood was so peaceful. I would definitely stay here again if ever in the Cleveland area.

Everything was very convenient and fairly cozy, but frankly the floors, ceilings, and any and all cookware seemed like they had never been cleaned before.

Not as advertised!

We arrived at 3pm which was check in time. The neighborhood did NOT appear "trendy" or "safe" as advertised. The ad reads "driveway parking" but I was told there was plenty of street parking. We decided to pull in the driveway to unpack and it was so narrow that the bushes on the drivers side did not allow the door to fully open. I went in the house and my first impression was the stains on the carpet/rug and furniture. The kitchen sink was stained. The bed was not fully made up. There was a bag of trash on the bathroom floor and the bathroom sink had not been cleaned and had hair all over it. I pulled out my phone to text the owner and saw that someone from "Cleveland House Hotels" had texted me asking when I would arrive. (I do not check texts when I am driving) . She had asked (at 2:13) when I was arriving and when I said we were there and the condition of the house was unacceptable, she said the previous guests had left it "so messy" that the cleaner was going to come back to finish cleaning. I said we were leaving because of the totally unacceptable condition of this place and that I wanted a full refund. She said she would refund my stay and I am hoping that's going to happen. Bottom line...the neighborhood did not seem safe, the house was dirty, and the parking situation was not good. Avoid this place! We have used VRBO many times and I have never seen such badly kept property.
