Welcome to our modern annex garden apartment, situated in the heart of the mature grounds of a historic 150 year old Jute Baronâs mansion. Located in Dundeeâs prestigious West End, this unique property combines the charm of its heritage setting with the comfort of contemporary living. Surrounded by towering trees, with sweeping views of the Botanic Gardens, the River Tay, and the hills of Fife, this apartment offers an unparalleled backdrop for your stay.
Whether youâre travelling, visiting friends, or working away, this self-catering accommodation is a fantastic home away from home. The apartment is nestled within Taypark Houseâs stunning garden ground, on the first floor through a shared entrance with the downstairs Garden Apartment. It features two spacious super-king/twin en-suite bedrooms (please specify bed set up at time of booking), offering flexibility for couples or groups. There is a comfortable open plan living, dining and fully equipped kitchen if you choose to cook during your stay - although we have an abundance of local restaurant recommendations to give you too. Additional amenities include a washing machine for longer stays, triple-glazed windows, and modern gas central heating, ensuring a cosy and inviting atmosphere, even on the chilliest of days. Please contact us if you wish to book both apartments as weâd be more than happy to provide a discounted rate.
Whether youâre wandering through the lush greenery in the grounds outside, or simply relaxing in the peaceful surroundings taking in the views, youâll feel a sense of serenity that makes it a great place to unwind and relax in.

Although the apartment is on the grounds of The Taypark Hotel, this is run separately from the hotel itself. Whilst we always encourage guests to visit their sumptuous bar area, book a table at their stylish restaurant, or for a memorable experience, reserve one of their three cosy outdoor domes, each comfortably seating up to eight guests on their website, if you require any assistance during your stay please contact your hosts directly through your booking platform.
Hosts won't be present however if you require support through your booking platform where messages are monitored constantly.
Our location offers the perfect balance of convenience and natural beauty. Adjacent to the Botanic Gardens, the apartment provides easy access to some of Dundeeâs key attractions. The nearby Dundee Airport is ideal for travellers, while Ninewells Hospital is just a short distance away for those visiting for work or medical reasons. A scenic walk will take you past the cityâs university area, leading into the vibrant city centre. Here, you can explore local landmarks such as the Discovery and the stunning V&A Museum.
For guests with cars, free private parking is available on-site, making it easy to explore the wider area, including the picturesque countryside of Fife across the River Tay.
