Great cabin!

We had a great stay! This cabin had all we needed to cook and relax! We will definitely come back and look for this cabin again! The cookies left ar the cabin by the manager were delicious!

The view and place was perfect for our stay. The driveway is steep with snow but overall I look forward to coming back!

A nice get away

The cabin was well located and dog friendly. We were able to go to the resort in a few minutes. However, we did want to get in at 2 pm and could not until 4pm. And check out was an early 10 am. Also only one towel was provided for the 3 of us. No condiments such as salt or oil was provided in the house so I had to buy everything I needed to cook with. Also, the cabin was quite cold and the heat didn't seem to kick in. It was cozy and nice but I think the price is a bit high for what they are offering. It also is located at the bottom of a driveway of another house, and doesn't really have an outside space to hang out on.

Convenient. Lovely views

pros: -convenient location - just a few minute drive to mountain village -beautiful mountain views from every window -full kitchen with multiple appliances as well as washer/dryer -communication with hosts was smooth and straightforward cons: -couch was uncomfortable. sunk nearly to the floor when sitting. the pull out bed was much more comfortable -bathroom was in the furthest point of the house from the entrance and was quite outdated -had to turn the heater up near 80 degrees at night to hear the upstairs bedroom. i will say it was a colder few evenings when we stayed (~5-10 degrees) but it became very chilly overnight. -also, (this is not a requirement by any means). but there was almost a foot of snow that we had to hike through in order to get the snow shovel so we could shovel the small walkway to the door overall, this a good unit without any frills or extras. i would say it was worth the price per night

Perfect ski retreat!

Located directly across the highway from Big Sky Ski Resort, this cozy log cabin was perfect for our ski vacation. You can actually see the ski slopes from the front and side windows of the cabin, and get motivated in the morning. My husband and I stayed there a few weeks back, and found the cabin spacious for the two of us, tastefully decorated, and very cozy. I was concerned about it being warm enough, but shouldn't have been - it had radiant heat and I woke up about every night almost TOO warm under the blankets on the bed. The cabin had plenty of appliances and pots/pans/etc. in the kitchen for us to cook breakfast every morning, including a coffee grinder! The bed was comfy. I will note that there were soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower - but they were totally empty. This wasn't a problem as we had brought shampoo/soap, but just seems like false advertising. Not sure why even have the dispensers if they aren't going to be filled. Other than that, perfect!

Great Location!

This was my return to Big Sky after first skiing here in 1997 when the original tram was new.The cabin has an amazing view of Lone Peak (when visibility allows) and is a quick drive down to the parking lots.I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin.The view was lovely and although we really didn’t use the kitchen, it appeared to have everything you needed.Location was super close (Montana standards) to town. Dining and stores.We were challenged by the driveway in the snow, even with snow tires but that didn’t lessen our experience. It’s just part of the experience we were not used to. Once it was cleared up again by the service, we were good.We were very comfortable here, and would visit again.

Property was in a good location in Big Sky. Size of place; kitchen, living room perfect for a couple. King bed would have been good- knew going in! Was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay!

Cute Cabin with great views

Cabin is very nice. It has a perfect view of Lone Peak. It's lacking some updates in the bathroom, but it's clean and everything was in working order. We didn't cook, but they have everything you would need. There is no handrail on the stairway for some reason and you need two hands to lock the front door when you leave bc it doesn't close all the way so you have to pull it closed & then lock it. I am sensitive to smells and every night the smell of cigarettes came into the bedroom and kept waking me up, but that might not bother everyone. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Wonderful cabin

Loved staying at this cute, comfy cabin with great views and easy access to Big Sky resort. Both upstairs bed and sofa bed were comfy, kitchen well stocked with cutlery/sharp knives etc. excellent lighting. Very nice, friendly owner who lives up the hill. Would definitely stay here again when skiing Big Sky.

Vacation

The property was very close to the slopes. The house was great except the issue with the shower. Needs to be cleaned better. The self in the cabinet was broken were the pots and pans where. Other than that we had an amazing vacation. Would rent again! Received lots of snow which was great. Definitely need 4 wheel drive.

Had difficulties regulating temperature in the unit. No hand rail on stairway. People driving up and down driveway daily. Otherwise the view is wonderful.

Great location!

We were really happy with the location of this adorable cabin. Very convenient to the mountain, and a beautiful view of Lone Peak. The driveway is steep and it snowed, so we were thankful to have snow tires. The cleanliness of the bedroom in particular was disappointing. It seems like the cleaning staff cut a lot of corners, including a recently stained and unwashed quilt folded at the end of the bed, as well as a broken mirror propped up in the bathroom. The property manager was very responsive when we reached out about these issues, which we appreciated, but it definitely left a poor taste in our mouth in regards to the cleanliness of the cabin. With a deep clean and refreshed linens, this place would definitely be 5 stars.
