The house was a great find. My group was in town for a bowling tournament and the center was just a few minutes away. Downtown Ocean Springs was an easy drive from the house also. The house was plenty roomy and the layout worked well for our group. The covered back deck was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee.Jan recommended a couple of restaurants and the two we visited did not disappoint!Will definitely look at booking the house again next year when we return for the bowling tournament

Charming house on the bayou

My husband and I stayed at this cute house for a week and enjoyed it very much. It was clean and comfortable. Jan was very accommodating and friendly. We had a great time.

Summer getaway

Jan’s house was well equipped with so many amenities including an office desk to work at. The wildlife was enjoyable to see in the backyard and the neighborhood was quiet. There were plenty of nearby beaches to explore and great restaurants. It was just what my husband I needed to relax and explore the surroundings.

getaway on the gulf

We stayed here for over a month. Great neighborhood and very quiet. About 150 yards from the Gulf with a small channel in the backyard. Great for bird watching. The stove was an upscale gas model making meal prep a breeze. We enjoyed our stay and would book again if in the area.

Loved the Tropical Oasis

We loved staying at the Tropical Oasis! Booking was a breeze & communicating with Mrs J was easy. She’s so nice! We arrived on a cold rainy day and Mrs J had the fire place on when we arrived. It was so warm & cozy. The place was clean and smelled very good. A lot of thought & heart went into the decorating as it was beautifully done. The home was supplied with everything we needed! We enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere as well. We caught fish & crabs & were able to clean them and enjoy a big fish fry. There was a very nice spot to park our boat. Sitting on the deck & enjoying the bayou was relaxing & fun too.. The location is great, close to all the surrounding cities & attractions. We’d love to stay here again. ❤️ 🎣 ☀️ 🚤 🦀 🐟 🥰

Wedding Venue

The location of the house was perfect for our trip to Gautier for grandson’s wedding at the “The Old Place “. The neighborhood was quite on a dead end street. Would love to stay again.

Quiet and relaxing stay

Tropical Oasis is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with attractions only a short drive away. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck and watching the river change according to the tide. This is a nice place to retreat to and relax.

Best weekend!

The property was exactly as listed. Owner was nice & communicated easily with her. The house is clean, comfortable and quiet. We loved the outside just as much as the inside. Lots of room for my boys to separate and chill out. This was a much needed vacation and this property was perfect. Thank you!!

Peace & Quiet

This was a perfect place for us to stay for a family wedding that was at "The Old Place" in Gautier. The property was extremely clean, safe, quiet and very peaceful. It has everything you need! Loved the deck and all the beautiful landscaping the owner has worked very hard on. Great place, wish I lived there!
