Perfect stay

Well kept, clean, and cozy! Perfect chilly weekend stay- we used the fireplace and enjoyed walking around the area as we searched for our new home in LA. Staying at this property shot Mar Vista up on the list of neighborhoods we would love to land in. Thanks Sandra!

A pleasant week away

We stayed for a week visiting family. Sandra's apartment was just perfect -- well equipped, nicely designed and private. And having a parking space right by the entrance was super convenient. We'll certainly stay there again.

Great stay in Santa Monica

Had a lovely stay in Santa Monica. Location worked well for us. Close enough to get over to the beach and close to hit the highways and visit other areas. Nice and close to Ralphs so can get groceries. Communication with the property manager was great. She was most helpful offering suggestions. Also had a chance to meet her at the start of our trip. The warm greeting was lovely. Bed was very comfortable. My daughter said the air mattress was good too. Thank you!

Perfect LA location

We were in town for a week and Sandra's place was excellent. Quiet neighborhood close to anything you might need. The place was well stocked, comfortable, clean, and perfect to unwind after a busy day. We will definitely stay again when we are in Los Angeles. Highly recommend.

Great getaway

Great stay

The property was very comfortable. The host had a lot of thoughtful extras. Great communication with the host. Easy after hours check in. While it is located on a busy street, you don't hear any noise with the AC running.

Best place in LA area

This house is lovely and perfect for two people. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. There's even a washer and dryer. The kitchen is fantastic and well stocked with equipment. Although small, is is very well set up. Sandra, the host, is wonderful. We'll definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in LA. The neighborhood and location were perfect for our needs.

A peaceful very comfortable spacious haven

The apartment was very quiet with double glazed windows we think keeping out the street car noise. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Air con worked well . Unit was spacious and well supplied : so much better than a hotel room! Sandra was Most helpful and delightful to meet. Recommend.

Convient, clean courteous host.

You will need a car but it is convenient to all LA attractions and beaches. Lovely neighborhood and it was great being across the street from a park. I even got to join a Zumba class over the weekend.! Sandra is a great host. Good communication. Check in process was easy. Just note it is a 2nd floor.

home away from home

We had an awesome stay at this place. It has everything you might need. We travelled with a child and had an extra inflatable bed requested. When we arrived everything was set up and very welcoming! Most of the attractions we wanted to go to were in 20min driving distance. Having a parking spot made it very easy to return late with no headache about where to park. We explored the are and had a lot of fun. Impressed by the city our best memories will be the super bloom in the Antelope Vally about an hour drive away! Thank you Sandra for having us.

Charming studio in Santa Monica

We just came back from a longer trip in US where we have spent 3 nights in Sandra's beautiful studio. The location of the studio, just across the street from Mar Vista recreational park, is perfect for enjoying LA fully (by car of course) and feel the local community. The studio was perfect for the three of us (2 adults + 15 yo boy). The studio was charmingly designed, immaculately cleaned, airy and full of light. The parking place in the garage is gold in LA and the bicycles available on the property are perfect for those staying longer and having time to ride around in the neighborhood which is quiet and beautiful. The owner Sandra was very nice and receptive and offered even to bring us anything we needed for breakfast, as we got there late in the evening. She lives behind the studio and she was available in case we needed something. We highly appreciated the small snacks, sweets and coffee we found in the studio. Thank you Sandra for offering such a high quality accommodation and we hope to come back for seeing more of LA.

Mar Vista review

This studio apartment was perfect. The location was ideal for our needs and close to everything. The host is very responsive and answers quickly. It is on a slightly busy road but the noise isn’t bad unless sitting on the patio. The neighborhood is very nice. We will definitely rebook the next time we are in LA.I would recommend to anyone coming to the area.
