Keen walkers can stroll along the seaside promenade that stretches along the shoreline to the neighbouring Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton, 2.5 miles away, renowned for its distinctive striped cliffs, and visit the local Sea Life Centre before enjoying the seaside funfair. This area is a natural haven for bird watchers, with two RSPB reserves close by at Snettisham (3 miles) and Titchwell (9 miles), home to various coastal paths that await to be explored. For a taste of history, visit Sandringham Estate (7 miles) where you can explore the royal house and gardens, treat yourself to an afternoon tea at the cafe, and browse the artisan shop. Alternatively catch the bus outside and tour the coast or head into Kings Lynn leaving your car at home.
