Visthuset, historical cottage at LÄngnÀs Manor
Our cottage, called Visthuset by LÄngnÀs HerrgÄrd (LÄngnÀs Manor), is an old larder from the 19th century. In early 2000s it was renovated and used as permanent residence for some years. Since then it has been a self-catered holiday rental for up to 4 persons.
The cottage is situated by the lake Stor-Gösken, roughly 200 meters from Hofors Golf Club first tee and Hofors Padel. Hofors and surrounding areas offer many possibilities for sport and sightseeing. Please see our guidebooks.
The cottage consists of two floors. The bottom floor has a kitchen and dining area, including a wood stove, as well as a small bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. The kitchen has basic necessities.
The top floor has a room with a Euro king-sized bed (160 x 200 cm), a chaise lounge couch, a lounge table, and a smart TV. Outside this room, right next to the stairs, there is a sleeping alcove with two smaller single beds (85 x 185 cm). A door enables some privacy between the two sleeping areas. Please note that the stairs between floors are open without handrails.
The cottage has a deck with table, chairs, parasol, and a grill. Guests are also welcome to use our garden. (Please note that our dog often runs loose on the property. Please let us know if this would cause you any discomfort and we will try to avoid this during your stay.)
Guests have the entire cottage and the deck at their disposal.
Vehicles can be parked just outside the cottage.
As a guest staying at LÄngnÀs HerrgÄrd you can buy discounted green fee tickets to Hofors Golf Club. Senior: 50 SEK discount. Junior: 25 SEK discount. When you book accommodation with us, please let us know if you would like to use this discount.

LÄngnÀs Manor (LÄngnÀs HerrgÄrd in Swedish) is owned and managed by the Backlund family. We live here on the property where we offer two short-term rentals: Visthuset (fully equipped self-catered cottage) and the West wing (quadruple deluxe room).
