Do Me Good är ett av de största och mest rymliga husen på Cape Blas. Det är din perfekta strandresa för att skapa oförglömliga semesterminnen med din familj och vänner.

Med spektakulära stränder och St. Joe Bay bara en minuts promenad från din ytterdörr, livet på Do Me Good är lika enkelt och roligt som det blir. Titta solen soligt sjunka över Mexikanska golfen från de stora soldäcken medan du andas in i saltluften, eftersom du känner att dina bekymmer glider bort med tidvattnet.

En rymlig öppen planlösning välkomnar dig med ett 16 "tak och en spektakulär sten spis. Ett loft med takfönster har utsikt över det stora rummet. Detta hem är översvämmade med naturligt ljus från soluppgång till solnedgång!

Det rymliga köket är tillräckligt stort för att rymma flera kockar som går in för att förbereda familjen måltider, vilket är lätt att göra med två ugnar, två kylskåp (en på sol veranda) och massor av skåp och diskutrymme. Det finns gott om sittplatser i matsalen för att alla ska äta tillsammans.

Med 6 sovrum och 4 1/2 bad är detta hem idealiskt för stora familjesamlingar. Det erbjuder sovplatser för upp till 15, inklusive två rymliga kung sovrum med tillgång till däck och utsikt över viken och st. Joe Bay. Det finns ett tredje kung rum, ett drottning rum med extra singel, och två rum med enkelsängar.

Av det stora rummet är ett stort glasförslutet sol veranda med våt bar, kylskåp, handfat och bord och stolar för fyra. Curl upp i en av två stora papasan stolar att läsa en bok eller ta en tupplur! Av solen veranda är ett stort öppet däck med ett bord för en uteservering, eller njut av sol och dricks i solnedgången på vardagsrumsmöblerna.

Underhållningsmöjligheter inkluderar gratis kabel-tv, höghastighetsinternet, Wi-Fi och telefon med långa avstånd. Ström dina favoritfilmer till TV: n. De flesta rum har TV.

Carport och körplats rymmer sex fordon. Under huset finns ett grillområde och en utedusch och ett halvt bad för att tvätta sanden efter en rolig dag på stranden.

Great house for a large group.

Eleven of us stayed in the house and had an amazing time. Living area is perfect for a big crowd. Short walk to the beach. The only downside was the small bedroom upstairs with two bunk beds was really hot. We ended up not using this room. A quick switch up sleeping arrangements and we were fine. Overall, we were very pleased.

Great time

The only disruption was all the vehicles on the beach. We even had someone blow their horn at our grandchildren who were tossing a football around. There was a constant flow of traffic on the beach which really disturbed our relaxing.

Do Me Good

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Cape was wonderful. We felt like we didn't get the value we expected in the house. The dishwasher was filthy and smelled of rotten shrimp upon our arrival. We pulled the filter and cleaned it, then cleaned the rest of the dishwasher. It was definitely not the way we expected to start our vacation. The oven under the stove didn't work. The control knob on the washing machine was stripped. Ants swarmed in the chimney, and we saw a few roaches upstairs.

Party of 15 staying at Do Me Good 2021

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros:1. The size of the house accommodated a group of 15 very well.2. Dealing with Coastal Joes employees in the beginning was great. They communicated well.3. The location of the rental was great.4. Plenty of parking.5. The porches are wonderful!!Cons:1. The house could use a deep clean. The air vents were nasty, there was dust covering the tops of the cabinets and dead ants were found around the fireplace.2. Two bedrooms were missing remotes and that problem was not resolved until day 4 of our stay.3. The washing machine was not hooked up correctly and was not fixed until day 4 of our stay.4. The house was advertised with 2 ovens, which was one of the main reasons we chose it. Unfortunately only 1 worked and we were never told it was not functioning. It took an email and 3 phone calls to find out the problem. We were told they were waiting on a part to come in that case we should have been told before arrival so we could be prepared. This was a major disappointment and failure of communication. 5. The water pressure for bathing was poor. Not even enough to rinse soap out of hair. Many times we used the carport water hose to wash our hair. This problem was mentioned to management but never resolved. 6. Communication with management and getting answers after checking in was poor. Overall....for the money we spent, I was disappointed. We still had a great vacation but the multiple issues added frustration. I personally own and rent a small vacation home in PCB. As an owner, I would not let any renter have to deal with that many problems. I would drive 6 hours to handle the situation myself if I couldn’t get someone there quicker. I would do what I could to make it right.

We do have one suggestion for a house that size that 15 people stay for 5 days generates quite a bit of garbage. That house definitely needs 2 trash cans. On Sunday night before we left the bags were over the top and the lid would not close. During the night something got into the garbage and we had to pick up everything that had been scattered Monday morning before we could leave.

Family vacation at “Do Me Good”

Although we didn’t get into the house until 7p.m. due to no one calling us when housekeeping finished, we were very happy with our week at “Do Me Good”. We had a few minor maintenance issues, but they were taken care of promptly. The large kitchen/family room was awesome for our group of 10, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the layout was great. It was a short walk to the beautiful beach, but glad we took a cart to carry our beach necessities. I suggest Austalian Gold bronzer to keep bugs at bay. Nothing else seemed to work. I would definitely recommend this house for a quiet getaway. We had a wonderful time! Thank you so much.

Great big house

Some bedrooms were very, very hot, and the main room was freezing. We had some pretty smart people in the group and we could not get the TV to work. Do Me Good does us good

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Do Me Good is always a pleasure for us to return to, year after year. It is a clean, very well-equipped house. Decor is pleasing, feeling more like home and friends than sterile and impersonal. View is amazing from the sunroom, where we ate most of our meals, looking out over the Gulf, to the decks looking both east to the Bay and west to the Gulf. One can enjoy both sunrises over the Bay and sunsets over the Gulf, always beautiful. Coastal Joe Rental Agency was very responsive to any needs we expressed and very easy to work with. Although there is a great amount of building going on out on the Cape, the neighborhood location for Do Me Good still seems quiet and somewhat set apart from the hectic world. And, of course, the beach!! Too much truck and driving traffic on it, unfortunately, makes walking the beach difficult sometimes, but nevertheless it is an exceptional beach to walk, to swim, to fish, to shell, to enjoy. If you are looking to cook and eat in, the kitchen is a cook’s dream come true, and lots of eating area at extensive counter/bar seating and dining table for 6 or 8.. A gas grill would be a welcome addition for outdoor cooking. You will enjoy your stay in Do Me Good.
