River Marsh Cottage on Callawassie Island

River Marsh Cottage is a 4 bedroom 4.5 bathroom house with beautiful marsh and golf views.

On the main floor of the cottage is a large open space living room, kitchen, wet bar and dining room with marsh and golf views. The master bedroom has a king bed, large walk in closet and just updated ensuite marble bathroom.
Off the master bedroom is a private office space.
A screen porch that opens off the living room and master bedroom spans the entire length of the house with views over the golf course, marsh, and nearby pond. The patio features an outdoor dining table with seating for 6, a cozy Egg swing and a swing bed on the far end off the master. Finishing off the main floor is a half bathroom and laundry room.

There are two additional bedrooms upstairs that open onto an upstairs balcony with views over the marsh and golf course. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom and Bedroom 3 has two double beds and a just updated bathroom.
The carriage house is just off the side patio from the kitchen. It has a queen bed and a small sitting area with a sofa, chairs and large screen tv. It also has a full bathroom.

The garage is not available to guests but there is off street parking for 2 cars in the driveway.

As soon as you cross the causeway to this gated private Island you can kick back and relax in this stylish space on beautiful Callawassie island. Callawassie amenities including golf (discounted golf guest rates - make tee time in advance), tennis and pickle ball courts, two year round pools, a fitness center, and access to the River Club which has a bar and indoor and outdoor dining. The golf course is a Tom Fazio designed 27 hole course.

Callawassie Island’s is a true low country getaway. It's a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary and Community Wildlife Habitat with salt marshes, tidal creeks and lots of wildlife. There is deep water access via the Colleton River.

Callawassie Island is located less than an hour from the Savannah / Hilton Head Airport.
It's a 15 minute drive to charming Beaufort, SC and a further 25 minutes to the beaches of Hunting Island. Bluffton with restaurants and shops is 25 minutes in the other direction and on the way to Hilton Head Island.
