Tucked away on the edge of the City of London, this inviting flat is a spacious, uncluttered haven in the heart of the capital. Spread over two levels and located on the third and fourth floors, the duplex is filled with natural light throughout the day. Overlooking a quiet courtyard with mature trees, it offers calming views of the city skyline beyond. Whether you're in town for business or a city break, this warm and comfortable space is a fantastic base for exploring London while enjoying a home-away-from-home atmosphere.

With over seven hundred square feet of living space, this light and airy flat combines a cool boho style with practical touches. White walls, stripped floorboards, and plenty of open space give it a relaxed character. The upper level houses a generously sized bedroom with a low double bed and blackout blinds, while the large bathroom includes a deep tub with an overhead shower – ideal for everything from a quick freshen-up to a long soak after a busy day. Downstairs, the living room features a comfortable L-shaped sofa and a double sofa bed, making the flat suitable for couples, solo travellers, or friends sharing a trip.

The living area enjoys excellent morning light and has wooden Venetian blinds to filter the sun throughout the day. There’s a dedicated dining space and a well-equipped kitchen with all the essential appliances to prepare simple meals. For remote workers, a comfortable desk area and high-speed internet provide everything needed for a productive work-from-home setup. The flat is well-insulated, with large radiators for chillier evenings and openable windows to let in fresh air when the sun’s shining.

This small, secure estate is part of a historic and family-friendly neighbourhood. Gated access, operated by fob and intercom, adds peace of mind, and the four-storey apartment building features private stairwells and open balcony walkways, each flat having its own front door. It’s a rare combination of urban convenience with a quiet, neighbourly feel.

The location is Spitalfields, one of London’s most vibrant and eclectic areas, celebrated for its blend of history, creativity, and culture. Just around the corner is the iconic Old Spitalfields Market with independent fashion stalls, artisan food, and hidden gems. Petticoat Lane Market is a few steps further, while Brick Lane—famous for its vintage finds, street art, and buzzing curry houses—is only a short stroll down Fashion Street. Leadenhall Market, with its stunning Victorian architecture, is also nearby. For everyday needs, local supermarkets like Sainsbury’s are close at hand, but you’ll also be spoiled for choice with nearby restaurants and bars. Favourites include The Ten Bells pub, rooftop drinks at The Culpeper, and the ever-popular Dishoom.

When it comes to getting around, the transport links are excellent. Liverpool Street station is just a short walk away, reached via the atmospheric Artillery Passage. From here, you have access to mainline rail, the Underground, and the fast, direct Elizabeth Line to Heathrow. With a quick change, you can also catch Thameslink services to Gatwick and Luton airports. Aldgate East station is also within easy walking distance, offering access to the District and Hammersmith & City lines, so you can move around the city with ease.

The property will only accept the number of guests booked as per the booking confirmation. Any additional guests not confirmed on the booking will not be accepted or subject to an additional charge.

Each guest will be asked to complete a pre-check-in form prior to arrival and be asked to share a form of governmental identification, Passports are required for non UK residents and UK drivers licence or passport is required for UK nationals.

This property is located in a residential area and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise, and will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Please note the following for the property.
- The flat is located on the third floor and is accessed via stairs, as there is currently no lift. Please bear this in mind when packing or planning your arrival. (Lift installation is anticipated around Spring 2026 – date to be confirmed.)
-The bed in the main bedroom is set low to the ground. It’s very comfortable, but guests should be aware of its lower profile.
-Due to the layout of the flat – including wooden flooring and a steep internal staircase – it may not be suitable for toddlers or very young children.

Please note that last-minute reservations being made within 24 hours from the arrival date are subject to a change in check-in time from 4 P.M to 7 P.M.

We would like to mention the check-in process:
With City Relay, the standard option of self check-in and usually means collecting your key from a local Key Nest location close to the property or via an onsite lockbox. We do also offer the option of an in person assisted check-in and should you request this, one of the team will meet you at the property to hand over the keys and give you a quick tour of the property. For this service a fee of £30 would apply between 4pm and 7pm and a fee of £50 would apply from 7pm onwards.

Guests must leave the property in the same state as when they checked in.
