Var så nära som du kan komma till naturen samtidigt som det är bara några miles från centrala Gatlinburg där du kan hitta allt shopping, äta och massor av attraktioner som din själ önskar. Låt barnen utforska den fridfulla utväg medan du kopplar av i bubbelpoolen eller sitter vid den dubbelsidiga eldstaden på baksidan. Fantastic long weekend, questions about the hot tubs and fireplaces were quickly answered - very impressed with proactive response to questions. Saw bears day #1 upon arrival!!! Close to Gatlinburg, lovely well appointed house.

Great Location

We were very happy with the house and location. My 1 and only issue was the trash pick up instructions. My party was elderly and did not have strength in our hands to open the rusted lock on the bear proof bin. I contacted the host leaving a call back phone number so I could find out about the trash. I never received a return call making it unable to address the issue.

Disappointing and Misleading Stay

The cabin itself was nice, but the location was extremely misleading. The listing claimed it was a 5-minute walk to the Gatlinburg strip — in reality, it was over a 15-minute drive and about a 1.5-hour walk. This completely threw off our plans for the weekend, which was meant to be a special one as I was proposing to my girlfriend.Relying on Ubers (which were hard to get and costly) added unexpected stress and expense. Because of this major discrepancy, I had to alter parts of my proposal plans, making the experience very disappointing.As a first-time VRBO user, this left a bad impression. If something as simple and verifiable as the distance to town was misrepresented, it makes you wonder what else you can’t trust. Not sure if I’ll book with Eden Resorts or VRBO again.

Perfectly positioned paradise

We were extremely happy with the location and how private it felt as it sits away from the other cluttered cabins at the bottom of the hill. It was very well equipped to suite our needs.

The time there

It was a beautiful place. The fireplaces in the bedrooms did not work the hot water was not the best at all it did not stay hot enough to even fill the tub 1/2 way. The hot tub was not hot till right before we left. Other than that the place was beautiful and very clean

Great house in a great location

The house was clean and as advertised upon arrival. Having 2 separate suites was convenient and accommodating. We had the pool to ourselves one of the days. Would stay here again.

Great Stay for a fair price

Everything was as expected. Great location. About an 8 minute drive from downtown. Very clean, the pool was just up the street and was very nice. The back yard is private with no one on the sides or behind the cabin. The satellite TV was out, but this was an issue with Direct TV, not the property itself. We called to let them know and maintenance was very prompt. They could not fix it, but did make a service call to Direct TV. Of course the issue was not fixed for our stay but the cabin did have smart TVs in the bedrooms, so all was good.

Getaway

The location was very nice and at two different times - a bear walked through the yard. However, the last two days of our visit there was no hot water. I do believe the front porch stairs should have a railing as it would be easier for people. Also the river rock on the sides of the short walkway should be removed as I tripped over them twice.

Started out Poorly/Never Got Better

It began with a half hour phone call when we were almost there. We realized we had never received our entry code. Upon saying that we were on hold a half hour before that got straightened out. Luckily we were not standing outside the door waiting to get in the entire half hour. We walked in and we had to chase down a constant beeping noise that took us a bit to find. Then had to stay awake until 1:00am for them to send a repair man from Knoxville to work on our continually beeping carbon monoxide detector. We were already obviously tired from the drive. Then we wanted to spend our days at the pool getting sun. There were a total of 6 lounge chairs at the pool for all of the people staying there. We asked a worker that stacked the towels if we could get more. He said he would check and never returned with an answer. So all week there were only 6 chairs for sunning by the pool for everyone staying in this community. It advertised a 3 min walk to Gatlinburg but never told you where to pick up the trail. I spoke to this manager multiple times and at the end of our stay I felt we should have had some form of credit/compensation on this stay. When I called to check out this morning I asked for a manager to return my call about all of these issues and I have had no return call.

24 hours without hot water. Person who fixed. Left no time. But said. Give it a “few hours”. Alarms going off at check in. Alerted office. We took batteries out. Unit needs cutting board and light out under microwave

Adorable house but needs maintenance

Cute house and decorated to welcome, which was great. Updates need to be done in the upstairs bath (cracked tiles in shower and floor is sinking). We mainly stayed downstairs except when we played pool so that didn't bother us but if we had had another party or our children with us that would have been unacceptable.

Family trip to Gatlinburg

Comfortable retreat for our family of 4, also had a pullout couch which could accommodate 2 other people. This unit is at the entrance and set away from the other rental units which we liked, it felt private. We visited last week of April and thought the community pool would be open but it wasn't, however we took advantage of the hot tub on our back porch which was lovely. The house was very clean, fun amenities including arcade machine, pool table and air hockey, equipped w plenty of cookware and utensils to prepare meals,gas fireplaces in bedrooms and living room. Easy drive to downtown Gatlinburg and just a little farther to Pigeon Forge and of course the entrance to the Great Smokey Mountains Park. This property is managed by Eden Crest which partners with Xplorie to offer discounts on local activities, such as a complimentary adult pass to Dollywood and Dollywood's Stampede among others. Great communication with host with clear instructions. Unit also has an Alexa which is set up to communicate with host and has information about local activities/sights. We would stay here again.
