The cabin was almost just as we remembered it 17 years ago when we came here for our honeymoon, just a few updates. Small, quaint, quiet, and nostalgic.

Thank you so much for this incredibly sweet review. It truly means so much to us that you chose to come back and stay here again 17 years after your honeymoon ❤️ We love hearing that the cabin still felt cozy, quiet, and nostalgic for you while holding onto those special memories. What a wonderful full-circle moment! We’re so honored to have been a small part of both trips and would absolutely love to welcome you back again for many more Smoky Mountain memories in the years ahead 🏔️✨

Besides the unexpected 200 fee charged through Vrbo, our stay was extremely disappointing. The cabin has what appears to be a serious termite problem. We found dead termites and wood debris around the kitchen counter, the bed, and the balcony. After cooking dinner, I left the food on the kitchen counter to rest for a short time. When I returned, it was covered in wood flakes that had fallen from above. The next morning, my wife suggested we eat breakfast on the balcony, but wood flakes continued falling onto us and our food there as well. The kitchen also was not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival, and the baking sheet provided didn’t even fit inside the oven. Additionally, one of the jets in the hot tub was not working, and there was a noticeable moldy smell when we first entered the cabin.Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and we have no plans to return.

Great place for a getaway

Me and my wife loved the quiet neighborhood and the vicinity to Downtown Gatlinburg. The place was very clean and had everything that we needed/wanted. The WiFi was a bit in and out and the fireplace was out of propane, but besides that, we loved it. We will definitely look to stay here again on our next weekend trip.
