Tucked away on a private estate in Oakenshaw near Durham, our handcrafted Finnish log cabin offers eco-luxury, stunning countryside views, and serene surroundings. Perfect for couples or families, enjoy a wood-fired hot tub, retro arcade, pool table, and stylish artisan interiors. Just 7 miles from Durham City, itâs a magical escape where nature, design, and tranquillity meet. The space is an entertainment zone but also a peaceful sanctuary to reconnect, relax, and unwind.
Our bespoke Finnish log cabin is set on our peaceful private estate in Oakenshaw, just 7 miles from Durham. Built from slow-grown Nordic pine, it features a wood-fired hot tub, underfloor heating, and unique artisan touches. Enjoy stunning countryside views, a pool table, retro arcade, bar area, and a retractable 83â screen. Ideal for couples or families seeking a luxurious, nature-filled retreat with soul.
Guests can use all of the space but the outdoor areas you may see the odd person or child as its our family home also.

We chose this area because it offered exactly what we were looking forâpeace, beauty, and a true connection to nature without being too far from the comforts of town.
