A unique and tranquil getaway in the heart of the Cotswolds and just a 5 minute drive to the Venice of the Cotswolds, Bourton on the Water.
It is a light spacious family home nestled in the quiet picturesque Cotswold village of Great Rissington. The large upstairs open plan sitting room and well appointed kitchen, has patio doors opening out onto a balcony which leads into the large private sunny dog friendly garden. The property offers four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The space
A Charming 4-bedroom 3-bathroom retreat with large garden in Great Rissington, a short stroll from a wonderful pub, The Lamb Inn. This cosy yet spacious home offers a comfortable lounge, a dedicated dining room and a modern kitchen equipped with all white goods.
Step outside to a beautifully maintained large garden to unwind after exploring the nearby attractions. Whether you're seeking a peaceful countryside getaway or a base to explore the Cotswolds this home provides the perfect blend of tranquillity and accessibility
Guests enter the property into the bright hallway, which leads to the first double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Continuing down the hall there is another bathroom with shower, sink and WC which serves the other two bedrooms on this floor. All bedrooms have curtains and come with hotel quality crisp cotton sheets, fluffy towels for each guest and complementary toiletries. Continuing to the back of the house there are two more spacious and well designed double bedrooms with and a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Climbing the stairs to the first floor there is a large master bedroom on the right hand-side, with sweeping views to the front and back of the house. Next to this is another bath, WC and sink. Along the hallway is a study with views to the garden and steps down. Further along the hallway to the side of the house you enter a large open plan sitting room , kitchen and dining area. This is perfect for entertaining and having family dinners and games nights. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, including dishwasher, electric hob, microwave and coffee machine.
This kitchen has access out onto a balcony that overlooks the large garden. Steps down to the garden take you into a stunning, large expanse of grass and fauna with a well-placed outdoor table on the patio. Perfect for entertaining in the summer months.
Please no smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property.
Well behaved pets are allowed on request. Please give details, when making your booking, to enable us to determine if they are suitable for the property. There is an additional fee of ÂŁ30 per pet.
CHECK IN
Check in time is from 3pm but we will try to let you get into the house sooner, if requested. It just depends if we have guests staying the night before.
CHECK OUT
Check out is 10am, so we can get the property ready for our next guests.
Guests will have access to the whole property, including the private garden.
There are two parking spaces on the driveway but please park sensibly as not to obstruct the neighbours getting in and out. The third space if needed will be on the road just externally to the property. There is always plenty of parking and it is completely free.
Guests have access to the whole house and garden.
Pets are welcome at ÂŁ30 a dog per stay. Please do pick up after your dog. The garden is fully dog proof so your little ones cant escape.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
