The Granary, Aberystwyth
The Granary is situated on a small working farm in the hamlet of Chancery only, 3 miles from Aberystwyth, and is ideally situated for exploring the wonderful countryside and beaches of Ceredigion.Â
The cottage provides a comfortable and homely base for walking, swimming, water sports and golf in the surrounding area.
Aberystwyth is well known for its long Victorian promenade, the perfect place to enjoy fish and chips or an ice cream and watch the spectacular sunsets over Cardigan Bay. There is a Cliff Railway to the top of Constitution Hill and Rheidol Steam Railway runs to Devilâs Bridge with its spectacular waterfall. There are plenty of independent shops, cafĂ©s, restaurants, and takeaways.Â
Aberystwyth is home to the National Library of Wales and the Arts Centre has a great programme of concerts, cinema, and exhibitions.Â
Ceredigion Coast Path is within easy reach with spectacular scenery, sandy beaches, and seaside villages to explore. The Cambrian Mountains are a haven for wildlife where red kites soar above remote and stunning landscape or you can see red kites being fed at Bwlch Nant y Arian visitor centre.
ACCOMMODATION
The Granary sleeps 3 in 2 bedrooms:Â 1 twin (or super king), 1 single. Â The cottage is single storey so may be suitable for guests with restricted mobility.
Bedroom 1: twin beds (can be made up as super king on request), bedside table, wardrobe, chest of drawersÂ
Bedroom 2: single bed, wardrobe and drawers
Shower room: walk-in shower, wash hand basin, WC
Lounge/dining: two 2-seater sofas, 4K Smart TV, dining table seating 3
Kitchen: electric cooker with double oven and ceramic hob, fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster
OUTSIDE
Outdoor bench and picnic bench/table at the front of the cottage. There is a washing machine and freezer in the laundry room on site (shared with The Stable next door). A lockable shed is available for bicycles, kayaks etc. Off road parking for 2 cars.
