Escape to the coast at Marsay Cottage, a charming 100-year-old former minerâs cottage, beautifully renovated and perfectly positioned between Staithes and Skinningrove. With sea views, cosy interiors, and access to Cleveland Way just moments away.. 2 steps to entrance.

Inside, the cottage has been thoughtfully updated to combine cosy comfort with modern convenience. Enter through the front porch, ideal for storing muddy boots after a day on the Cleveland Way, and step into the inviting lounge, where a wood-burning stove adds a toasty glow on cooler evenings. The adjoining kitchen is well-equipped for cooking hearty meals, with both a breakfast bar and a dining table for gathering around. A handy ground-floor shower room and utility cupboard with a washing machine add to the practical touches.
Upstairs, youâll find two comfortable bedrooms, a master double with far-reaching views across open countryside and even out to sea over the cliffs, and a second bedroom with a single bed plus a trundle, ideal for children or extra guests. There is also a family bathroom offering both a bath and a shower over, perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors.
To the rear of the cottage is a small, enclosed patio, a safe space for dogs to stretch their legs or to enjoy your morning coffee in the fresh sea air.
