We had a fantastic time at this cabin, the housekeeper was the icing on the cake, she really did a great job, leaving little notes to help with the fireplace and Jacuzzi. We will definitely be back!

This was exactly the getaway we have been needing. The cabin was remote with all the privacy we wanted. The cabin was themed beautifully!! It was very clean with everything we needed. We loved the stream and the hot tub. We’d love to visit again soon.

We sincerely enjoyed our weekend getaway at this beautiful, rustic cabin! The location is perfect and it was so peaceful and quiet. We loved being right on the stream and the hot tub was perfect! We really enjoyed spending time on the porch and we never saw or heard any neighbors. The cabin itself was very comfortable and clean and fit our needs perfectly. It was as described in the listing and we would gladly return and stay here again! Only 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and even closer to Mercier Orchards. Have already recommended this listing to several friends and family!

Upon arriving at the cabin, I do as I always doAnd check the bed under the mattress for bed bugs . And, to my shocking surprise, there were bed bugs. We contacted the owner and she was shocked to see this as well . She was gracious enough to refund our money for the stay . However we did not find another cabin to stay in and had to go home . So it was not a pleasant stay for us . And I debated on whether or not to leave this review. But, I just want others who book to beware, and look under beds when you go anywhere .

Julie is an awesome host! Everything you need for a relaxing cabin stay was provided! Julie answered every “beck & call” Our only concern was backing up the driveway.; we even had to call a tow truck one evening. So take care! Otherwise a picture perfect way to enjoy the beautiful fall Blue Ridge colors!!!

The cabin was cozy, clean and well stocked. Best of all the owner Julie Shelton personally called to make sure that we had everything that we needed and even made arrangements for me to have access to the Troutstream at another location because being elderly it was difficult to get down to the water. Extremely nice people!

Nice and quiet. We enjoyed the porch overlooking the water. The driveway was partially blocked by a trailer with debris on it, so we had a hard time getting in and out.

Very clean and well stocked on everything. The kids enjoyed the creek right off the back of the house and the back porch and hot tub were wonderful. The driveway is a bit tricky, 4wheel drive will definitely help. Overall a wonderful stay.

This cabin was everything we expected and more,it was quiet and peaceful and clean. The stream out back was the reason I chose this cabin. We did catch a couple trout and some creek chubs. Will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

I would have to describe this as the quintessential mountain cabin! It was just as described and as the photos indicate....the creek is literally right outside your door. To hear the running water was so peaceful and calming. I stayed with my spouse for an anniversary trip. We both really enjoyed it. Morning coffee on the back deck was great. My wife enjoyed jogging through woods - all she kept saying was how quiet it was. I fished in the stream - caught a fish too! We saw more deer during our stay than we saw people - so cool!All amenities were as described in the posting - no issues there. The place was spacious for the two of us and we found it to be very comfortable. The check in process was simple any thing we needed (supplies, restaurants, shopping) were 15 minutes away.We won't soon forget this cabin and its great location!

Wonderful getaway

We celebrated my 71st birthday and had a great time. The cabin was very nice. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck and relaxing in the hot tub. Spent a day in Blue Ridge shopping and one day riding the rail cars. Weather was hot but not unbearable. Saw several deer with fawns. The creek was really nice but unfortunately, the trout weren't biting. Look forward to our return trip next year.

Cabin with an amazing porch view, creek & hot tub

Our grandsons loved the loft beds, hot tub, & creek! They had the best time exploring the creek. I wish i had brought them tubs to play on. We loved rocking & relaxing on the porch! Just a beautiful view & cabin. I would highly recommend staying here. We really enjoyed the town of Blue Ridge. I had no idea how cute this town was going to be!! Close to rafting too! Love to come back!!!! I bet its amazing in the fall!!

We love her cabin. Very private. The proximity to the stream is wonderful. You can throw a corn chip in the water from the porch swing. It is also near enough to twin and some fabulous dining. She could use some cookware. Until then bring your own if you plan on cooking even popcorn. The floor is very noisy so this place is not great for more than a couple. If more bring a white noise machine so early risers don't loathe themselves for just making coffee.The driveway is a trick due to the hill but was not a problem. We got to see many deer but only one squirrel. Not sure where the squirrels went- convention perhaps. The town is super cute. At dinner at our favorite- Southern Charm, I noticed how loud it was with happy American people laughing and enjoying themselves.
