4 Wheeling Weekend

Everything about this place is great except the home exterior. Several windows/soffet were covered in dead bugs & cobwebs from years past- thats all you literally see when you are doing dishes/looking out the window. This has clearly not been done for several years. The deck needs a power washing very badly also- has moss growing on it. The front door deck area is also in need of repair as its pulling away from the house & really not safe for anyone to use. The interior of the house was clean, musty smelling, but better after aired out for first night. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen & excellent space for a family! Could definitely use a smart TV in the basement-not just DVD & better toilet paper, but we managed. We did not use the lake, but it is beautiful and clean with lots of lilly pads. Has excellent outdoor space for yard games, bonfire area & parking with ATV trailers. We loved that it was close enough to the trails we could ride right from the house. All things considered we would definitely consider staying here again!

Fun Family Vacation

We have stayed at this property multiple times, and we have a great visit each time. The lake is fabulous, the cabin is clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. The owners are welcoming and very responsive to any questions we’ve had. I highly recommend this property for any family wanting a relaxing lake vacation.

A wonderful place to stay

Perfect Family Stay

This house on the lake is the perfect location for a family getaway. The lower level provides its own area including bedrooms, a bathroom, lounge area and kitchenette. This home was even more than we expected and very nicely decorated. Kitchen fully stocked, comfortable beds and spaces. Would definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful Property

We had a great time at this beautiful lake home. The house was very comfortable and homey. The grounds were spectacular with the lake just steps from the house. I highly recommend this property and hope to return next year.

First rental we're renting again!

The weather didn't cooperate for much of our trip, but we had a great time anyway. There were places for us to squirrel away when we wanted alone time (or remote meetings time), and the living room was very comfortable for us. We also spent time on the deck outside, and on the chairs down on the grass. Even if it's too cold to swim, I need to remember to get out in the kayak right away. Clean water, clean and comfortable house, great time!

Great cabin

The cabin was well stocked and nicely decorated. Great layout with lower level kitchen area and multiple sleeping options. Nice location on the lake and easy access to the dock. We had a great time!

Fun Family Vacation

We have stayed at this lovely lake home several times now. It never disappoints. It is clean, well-stocked, and has plenty of room. The paddle boards were greatly enjoyed. Rhonda is quick to respond and very welcoming. We enjoyed a fun fishing guide trip led by Dan Ryan. Our family looks forward to this vacation every year.

Great Cabin and location

Our families stay from May 28th-31st, 2023 was a wonderful time in a great location on Woman Lake. Only 1 mi from Longville and 28 min from Walker on Leech Lake. Picturesque all the way around. Beds Very comfortable , very clean and Rhinda and husband are very helpful hosts. IF your a fisherman, Great crappie spot right from dock. Downstairs is like another complete floor w small kitchen , living laundry 3 bedrooms. Highly recommend. Thanks again to the Pahls !!! Swift family from Excelsior Mn

Comfortable stay.

The place is well set up for families with the basement being a place for the kids to set up shop for their own space if weather conditions do not allow outside activity. Lawn space to set up games. Excellent view of the lake with access to Woman Lake and close to town by boat or car. If plan on fishing and keeping your catch they do not have a place to clean fish.

March fishing trip with the buddies

Put 10 hours on the snowmobiles and some time in on the ice catching fish. It was a great location to be in for both. The stay was great, comfortable and all the amenities needed. Access to the lake from the property was not an option due to a 3-4 foot drop off at the shoreline, however there were other areas nearby. Every local we ran into was super friendly and more than willing to help with trail advice, fishing advice, or any other questions we had. Great location and house for a family or multi family trip as well if your an outdoorsman/lady. Would stay here again!

We have always had a dream to own a cabin up north that we could fix up, use for our family and share as a rental. We co-own the cabin with a family member, Keith Peterson. The three of us did all of the work to improve and decorate this home for rental!
Jim & Rhonda live in Mound across from Spring Park Bay on Lake Minnetonka. Rhonda is a realtor with Edina Realty & Jim owns Pahl Exteriors, LLC. Keith Peterson is a retired pipe fitter living in St. Louis Park. All three of us grew up in Bloomington, MN.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We grew up going to our grandma & grandpa's lake property on Leech Lake most of our lives. Our grandpa was a Chippewa Indian born & raised on Leech Lake. He had a bay named after him called Bungy Bay! This area has a special place in our hearts.

When we purchased this property we wanted the lake and area to be full recreational. The Woman Lake chain & Longville provide this for all. You are secluded in nature but have access to everything you need with a 1 mile distance. The lake is full of all popular MN fish species that every one enjoys!
