Chelsea Charm i historiska London Neighborhood, med alla Mod Cons!

Beläget i Draycott Place, en charmig periodgata i Old Chelsea som ligger några steg från Sloane Square och King's Road. Gångavstånd till affärer i Knightsbridge och museer i South Kensington denna lägenhet ägs av en inredningsarkitekt.

Ett dubbelrum med eget badrum och ett enkelrum plus duschrum. Det finns också en vardagsrums soffa med en (stoppad) enkel madrass som kan användas för en 4: e person - tänk på det som en dagbädd. Det finns en mycket liten uteplats på baksidan som är lämplig för döda rökare, men det finns ingen rökning inne i lägenheten. Eftersom lägenheten är "Lower Ground" finns branta smala brittiska trappor som leder till ytterdörren, så alla gäster måste vara smidiga!

Lägenheten har tre TV-apparater, Blu Ray & DVD multi region system, kabel, trådlöst internet och en mysig matplats utanför vardagsrummet, med takfönster ovanför.

Närmaste tunnelbanelinje är Sloane Square, men du är också inom gångavstånd från South Kensington Station. Jag föredrar att ta nummer 19 eller 22 buss till Piccadilly Circus om jag är på väg till West End-ritten på toppen av den ikoniska dubbla decker-röda London-bussen och få en fågelperspektiv över allt London har att erbjuda.

Great neighbour and cozy apartment

This beautiful apartment is located in a very nice area with lots of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Clean and has everything you need. The host,Mark is very helpful. Warm recommendations from our family if you want to stay in central London.

My wife and I always love this neighborhood as we have stayed in the area on three separate occasions. This trip we brought our kids 18, 20 along with us. This was the perfect place for their first London experience. The host was so welcoming and the check in process was amazing. I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting the pulse of the big city only a short walk away, yet the charm of a quiet neighborhood as well.

Location was great! We could walk to many restaurants and local grocery! The restaurant within a 2 minute walk Chalk Freehouse was wonderful and the staff was amazing!

Beautiful property! It looks just like the pictures and has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet, but very close restaurants, shops and public transport. Mark was a great host, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book his property again.

The flat is lovely, and the neighborhood was quiet, but convenient to shopping, dining, and public transport. I loved the artwork in the flat, and even left a piece of my own for him when we left. The neighborhood was so quiet that I was able to sleep with the patio door open at night, which was nice since the back room wasn't near the AC unit. Prior to arrival, Mark was able to give me recommendations for places to go for tea for a more authentic experience. We chose The Ivy Chelsea Garden, and we were not disappointed. It was wonderful. Mark stayed in contact with me even after my arrival to ensure that all was to my satisfaction. We had one small incident with the washing machine handle, and I tried to repair it, but unfortunately, I didn't have the correct tools. I hope that it wasn't a difficult repair. Everything else was perfect.

This is a great apartment and Mark is a superb host. The communication was always instantly happening in case we had any questions. We found some ice tea and milk together with Pepsi cans in the fridge-good after arrival. The location is wonderful and it is only a short walk to Sloane Square underground station. We loved staying there very much and will definitely return.

Mark’s flat was great and he was so accommodating when I’d asked about early check-in as our flight landed at 7am from the States. It’s in a fantastic location! 6-8minute walk to Sloane Tube station-so convenient! And King street for fun shopping is a couple of blocks away! His apartment has everything you can think of including a great washer & dryer. There is a very nice neighborhood bar-restaurant called The Chalk diagonal from his place. Great fun in the evenings for a few cocktails and to mingle with the locals. I’d love to stay here again!! Also it felt very safe.

We had an excellent experience! Everything was as expected and beyond. We really appreciated the direct communication on instructions for entering the property, as well as the detailed instructions about every aspect of the house (tv, stove, washer and dryer use. A list of restaurants around the area) A bonus was the outlet adapters. We had the European adapter, but not the UK ones! Lots of room to spread out and relax with my family of 4. The location was fantastic. Very quiet neighborhood 2 blocks off the main road. A short walk to the tube! My family would highly recommend this property.

London for Beyoncé

Overall this was a nice place to stay. Mark was an excellent and attentive host. The checkin and checkout was seamless and he left lots of helpful information regarding restaurants etc nearby. Admittedly, this is my first time in London and the kitchen and second bath were smaller than I anticipated. The plumbing in the primary bedroom was very sluggish such that I reserved it for liquids only. The steps are incredibly steep to the property and very slippery when wet. We navigated them fine for the most part but must be very careful and able bodied. The unit is in the basement level so not as bright as it appeared in pictures. The location was excellent however with great shopping and restaurants and close to the tube.

Wonderful!

This was by far one of the best rental properties I’ve ever stayed in. Mark was an incredible host. There was fresh flowers and donuts for us when we arrived. There were 5 of us girls and we had an amazing time. Price was reasonable and in the best neighborhood. If you are looking for a cute and fun place to stay for your trip to London this is the perfect place!

Amazing Family Friendly Rental

We had the best week-long stay at this perfect rental. The space felt bigger than was picture and it was perfect for our family of 4(2 adults and a 7 and 9 year old). The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the utensils and cooking equipment we needed; full oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, etc. The host left us some goodies on arrival which was a nice touch and super thoughtful as we were coming in from a redeye flight. The full sized washer and dryer were a game changer for us and allowed us to pack much less and save on checked baggage fees. This is a below ground unit but you wouldn’t know it because of all of the natural light! We had the best stay. Highly recommend!

Great Stay in London

The location of this property was great! Safe, quiet, close to Sloan Square station and a lot of shopping and food on Kings Road. The property manager was easy to communicate with. Having a washer and dryer was useful! And many outlet adapters were there for us to use. We would definitely recommend! You have to go down a steep, short staircase to get to the unit just to be aware. Great stay!

Ideal

Wir waren mit unseren 2 Teenagern 6 Tage in der Wohnung. Die Lage ist ruhig und idealer Ausgangspunkt. Underground in maximal 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Aber auch Hyde Park oder Buckingham Palace sind zu Fuß in Verbindung mit der Erkundung der Gegend gut zu erreichen. Sehr netter Vermieter.

Perfect for our trip

The location is wonderful - we loved using Sloane Square station to access the circle and district lines because it was so much less crowded than the bigger stations. Marks and Spencer was so convenient, as well!The space fit our group of 5 perfectly and we were all comfortable. I didn’t realize it was a basement but that was probably my lack of attention to details, but there was plenty of light. We felt very safe.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I loved the period nature of this property. Looking down the street you can imagine you were in the 1880s. However I extensively (but sympathetically) renovated the interior so that has all the modern amenities one would require.
