The only thing that we didn't like was we never had any bars on our phone while we were in the room on the wifi. So texts never went through and phone calls would drop. The rental is in an amazing location, just few minutes from Kamaole Beach Park II, has restaurants & general stores also at a walkable distance.As for the unit itself, the 1 bed condo was well kept and had everything we need. The management was also responsive to our questions. The unit also came with lots of beach gear like towels, chairs, cooler, toys to make a day on the beach fun and relaxing. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Kihei.

Great location

I loved that this unit was located right across the street from the beach, and easy walking distance to several restaurants. The only complaint would be the huge roaches (which the property is pretty transparent about there being an abundance of bugs there on the island). It was a bit more than I anticipated and made it a little harder to feel relaxed. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Even in the storm, 136 was bright and cozy. The safety bars in the shower made our lives easy. Location across from lovely pool was perfect. Rooster woke us before first light, but we didn;t mind at all.

Great Stay in Kihei

We stayed at the property April 11-25. The unit is a ground floor with a peaceful lanai close to one of the many bbq areas. The pool was large with 3 cabana’s and plenty of pool chairs. Kam 2 beach is a 1-2 minute walk from the unit, and it one of the best beaches in Kehei. We would stay at this location again anytime. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful plane on the beautiful island of Maui

Our 1 bedroom unit had everything we needed: kitchen quiet space, and came with a fan, beach chairs and was close in proximity to the beach (across the street), restaurants, and organic grocery store. Very large and small bugs in kitchen and bedroom, inability to connect laptop to tv to watch Netflix, etc., and really thin insulation combined with noisy neighbors next door and upstairs made this a less than ideal stay. But the location is good for getting out and exploring the island.

Good value for the money

The location is awesome! There are many places to eat and shop within walking distance. The beach is one of the best on Maui and it's right across the street! The place would get 5 stars from me if there was air conditioning in the bedroom. The one in the living room is too far, doesn't help at night at all. We were there in October and some nights were too much, I imaging how bad it is in the summer. Please install a portable AC unit or something!
