Massiva ekhaggar och katedraltak kommer att vÀlkomna dig nÀr du gÄr om stugan. Vi Àr sÀkra pÄ att du kan njuta av utsikterna frÄn swing eller wood rockers pÄ vÄr expansiva tÀckta veranda (nÀstan 300 kvm ft). Absolutely beautiful cabin and gorgeous nature setting. The cabin was clean, cozy and had everything we could have needed. Hot tub and fire pit were great. Owners were very responsive and checked in to see how things were going. Highly recommend staying here, we will again one day!

My wife & I came here for a getaway for our 15 year anniversary. The property is very nice & clean & cozy. The decorating is fabulous too. Its private with a few near by houses but cant see from the property. The chopped wood to use for a fire was very nice to have on hand thats definitely an added bonus to take advantage of. The hot tub was clean & cozy. The porch is amazing along with the view. All in all i recommend and hope to come back for another getaway.

The cabin was amazing. The view out of the back porch was great, seen 5 deer the first night, second nignt we seen 4 deer and a turkey. Owner was on top of everything and when I texted them they responded immediately. I will stay there again if I am up that way!

We loved everything about Souther Grace Cabin! We drove all the backroads, went to the lake, spent good money at Hinshaws Rock N Gems (check them out), and started planning our next stay here. We had a huge full moon all week to stare at from the hot tub, and it lit up the entire outside like daylight!

Relaxing vacation

This cabin did not disappoint!!! It was immaculate inside with everything we needed. If you want a relaxing experience this is the place. We watched deer and turkey from the furnished covered porch for the country feel yet we were close to all that we needed!! Melanie and Kevin were the best in corresponding when needed!! Highest rating given for this wonderful cabin and we will be back!!!

Best of cabin life

This is our second visit to this cabin with our grandchildren. The pictures don’t do it justice! The seclusion, abundance of wildlife, amenities in the impeccably clean cabin and close proximity to Patoka Lake, French Lick, and Wilstem Safari make for the best memories. The host’s thoughtfulness is felt throughout the cabin. You’ll be eager to visit in every season!

2024 Total Solar Eclipse - Amazing getaway, unbelievable view of the sky

My friends and I planned about a year in advance to stay within the path of totality and finding this cabin was a godsend. Not only was the house fantastic, but the view was absolutely stunning. For the eclipse, we lucked out and got great weather to take in the once in a lifetime event with total privacy. And at night, the sky that was viewable was perfect for stargazing, with or without a telescope. Couldn’t recommend this place more if you’re wanting to find some private peace of mind and even more so if you’re looking to find some dark skies with an almost 360 degree view of the night sky.

Relaxing and Cozy

Great location to Patoka lake and French Lick attractions. Secluded and private cabin with all the amenities that a couple or small family would need. Rooms were spacious, kitchen well appointed, large refrigerator, and very large dining table. Plenty of room on covered porch as well has hot tub area. Hosts were very accommodating and communication was probably the best we've had within VRBO. Will stay again hopefully soon, and would highly recommend to anyone.

Even better in person!

The quiet, peaceful seclusion of the cabin was much appreciated. The beautiful field surrounded by woods was just beautiful. The cabin was impeccably clean, with all the comforts of home (and then some!). The beds were very comfortable, the board games enjoyed by all. The hot tub was so nice under the canopy of stars. And every one enjoyed the space both indoors and out. The close proximity to Patoka Lake Park and French Lick made for easy exploring. Lovely memories of time with family were made.

Very nice

This was a quiet and relaxing stay. We enjoyed it immensely. Owners were very easy to contact and responded quickly. The house was very clean and well kept. We very much appreciated the clean hot tub-emptied and cleans after each stay. One thing is the phone service....we had none in the area-Certainly not the owners fault!! Just a heads up. Thank you!

Wonderful getaway with family

Southern Grace Dudefest

I stayed here with 4 other dudes for a weekend hangout. There was plenty of space inside and outside for us. We brought our own yard games for outside and had space inside to cool off. The property was quiet and well kept. The deck off the back was awesome and had plenty of seating. Check-in was simple and all expectations were made clear. We would definitely stay here again!

It's been a dream of the our family to have a property to call our own. After looking for several years, we immediately fell in love when seeing this cabin and the acres that came with it. Our family loves to boat, hike, fish, relax and spend time as a family. There is no better place than Southern Indiana to do all these things and with Grace being our daughters middle name, Southern Grace seemed like a fitting name for our cabin.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This is one of the most unique rental properties you will find in the French Lick or Patoka Lake areas. Nestled back from the paved road down a long lane, our cabin sits on a hilltop overlooking parts of our property. There are hilly meadows, woods, deer, turkey, and an occasional bald eagle may fly over from nearby Patoka Lake.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This is the ultimate getaway spot. Whether you want to sit on the covered porch, take a trip to enjoy the sights in French Lick or West Baden or spend a day on Patoka Lake, this cabin is centrally located and will allow you to rest and relax. Campfires (did we mention we have firewood for you???) and dips in the hot tub (EVEN IN THE WINTER- we don't close our hot tub like others... we think winter is the best time to enjoy) await! Might we also mention the quiet, calm of the property. You'll hear birds chirping and will be able to see the stars!
