beautiful property

We loved the house. The location is amazing, up on a mountain with gorgeous views of the lake and surrounding hills. The house was definitely large enough for all 14 of us. There were lots for the grandkids to do, inside and outside. The kitchen is huge and has everything you might need. The only problem we had was there were 4 couples and 3 rooms with a queen or king sized bed , which I was aware of before we arrived, but there was supposed to be a sofa bed in the family room downstairs as it was advertised in the room descriptions so thought we would be ok. The mattress is missing a lot of springs and they weren't able to sleep on it. We made due but they didn't sleep great. Would definitely recommend this property for a large family. We even had a photographer come up and take family photos around the property because it was perfect for it.

Needs some maintenance

The property is gorgeous with ample sleeping room. However there were maintenance issues to be addressed. There were problems with the gas stove, the diswasher, the bedroom tvs and a mouse in the master bedroom .

Extended family getaway

This home was perfect for our extended family of 11 with 5 kids aged 4-9. It was well-stocked. The kids loved the tree house, ping pong and hot tub. And the adults loved relaxing on the deck and enjoying the view!

Lovely Vacation Home

This home and property were just beautiful. More than what we expected! So much room for the kids to explore and set up games. The downstairs deck is big enough for everyone to gather. The highlight of our whole vacation were the amazing view of the sunset above the Lake Coeur d'Alene! Thank you for sharing your home with our family!

The owners made the process extremely easy. The description of the home and amenities were spot on. This is the first time staying a short distance (15 minutes) from town. We had 5 adults and 3 kids and the accommodations were perfect. Thank you

Great place!

This is a perfect place for gathering with family/friends of all ages. So much to do! Basketball, board games, ping pong, chess etc. Plus the treehouse, sandbox and swings for keeping the younger one busy was perfect. Beautiful, private property yet just a few minutes to town. Awesome hot tub too! Nicely furnished and comfortable with a big, well stocked kitchen. Really enjoyed watching the wildlife roam about the property.

The Great Snow getaway

We came up to visit my daughter who is at boarding school. The house was amazing. The property was spectacular. We woke up every morning to deer in the yard. My son spent as much time as possible sledding in every part of the yard. We made s’mores every night. It was perfect. I can not express how much the house made our trip better. I will gladly stay here again. Communication with the property owner was fast and efficient. No onerous rules to follow. An absolute positive in every way. A++++

Awesome long-weekend getaway

This property was even better in person than in the pictures. We traveled with 7-year old twins, some teenagers and adults, and everyone had the best time. We had plenty of room to spread out, the house was beautifully decorated, there were so many extra touches and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could have needed. The owner answered all of our questions very quickly via text message. The scenery and the view were gorgeous! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our long weekend. We would most definitely recommend! Thank you, Jean!

A wonderful Christmas stay

We had a great stay with family at the Hillcrest house over the week of Christmas. We arrived when temperatures were an unusually cold -8! But the house stayed warm despite the extreme conditions outside. There was plenty of room and activities for the 6 adults and 5 kids in our group. It's really a fantastic place for outside play. The neighbors houses can just barely be seen through the trees so it really does feel like you have the whole hilltop to yourself with plenty of space to run around. If booking in the winter just be aware that the private drive is fairly long and can get icy. So if snow is a possibility 4w drive vehicles are a must. Would definitely return visit for another Christmas or to experience the summer in Coeur d'Alene.

We had a great time! The property was beautiful, quiet, and well equipped. We didn’t get the entrance code the day before so I started to panic but we were helped with plenty of time before check in. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Loved this place!

Great location - close to amenities, but still felt secluded. So comfortable. Felt so at home. Great touches like wi-fi passwords in the bedrooms, hot tub towels in a basket right where we needed them. Would not change a thing.

Spacious Lakeside Getaway

PERFECT in All Ways!

Our 50th anniversary celebration at this beautiful, spacious home and property was perfect for all! Kids loved the sandpit, tree house, swings, hot tub, ping-pong. Adults appreciated the gorgeous sunsets on the upper deck and amazing kitchen with everything. This was the best stocked VRBO house ever! Definitely we would come back. Thank you for our wonderful stay!
