Purgatory Ski in Ski out

This stay was just as advertised, There isn’t many other places that are truly ski in ski out for the price and this one is by far the closest walk, like out the porch and 10 feet up the bank and your standing on a green run , straight down to the main lift, I had to carve some stairs in the hard packed snow to make it safer for my wife but that was fairly easy, the run is at a higher elevation than the porch and snow melt from roof had made it kinda icy but really not that big of deal

Very nice, well maintained property in a perfect location. Truly ski in-ski out.Everything was exactly as in description, but the condo just feels smaller somehow than expected. We felt cramped with 9 people.

True Ski In/Ski Out Condo

We had the BEST time skiing with our two adult children over Spring Break. The condo was cozy and location was perfect. We stepped right outside our back porch and skied right to lift 1. Then we took yellow brick road trail straight back to our back porch. The condo was so clean and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed sitting by the fire and watching skiers ski down the mountain from all of our windows. I communicated with David about a couple of things and he was very kind and responsive. We will definitely be back! Loved every minute! Wonderful Family Trip!

Great condo on the slope!

Perfect spring break condo on the slope. Six steps from the back porch is a green slope that takes you to the main lift. At night the slope is awesome place for kids to sled down.

Perfect location on the mountain. Ski to the chair lift right out the back door or sled on the hill. David was a great host!

True Ski In/Ski Out

We loved this house and ready to book it again! The location is amazing and it so easy to to ski down to the chair lift. You can take Yellow Brick Road and it will lead you right back home. The house is so cozy and clean. We loved the real fireplace and heated tile floors in the master. So glad we found this gem!

Great Upgrades & Perfect Host

We love the care and thought put into the upgrades like heated tile, and the quality linens! The property was immaculate. There were plenty of start up supplies & even a wonderful stash of games! We didn’t need to contact the host while we were there but over the year the helped us many times with the booking details. We felt warm, safe & secure and had the best Christmas!

Excellent Location

Our first time to Purgatory and loved the skiing and the excellent ski in/ski out location of this Townhome! It was very comfortable with large bedrooms and upgraded bathrooms and kitchen. Everything we needed was supplied. Will definitely return here!

What an amazing property! Ski right from the back porch and just a short walk to the base area for apre ski. Parking was convenient and plenty of room for 2 families.

Amazing Property

Great location and the house has plenty of space for medium sized group. The owner Dave answered our questions timely plus went above and beyond to make our trip great. We all ski so it was great being able to walk off the deck onto the slopes. Will absolutely being back!

A treasure In purgatory

We had a wonderful Time at this property. Beds were comfortable ( a bit hard for my taste, but my husband loved the harder bed). Property was extremely clean- the washer and dryer were a huge plus. Everything we needed to cook meals was there.

The property was fine but I do have some slight recommendations for a group of four of us there was one couch. An extra couch would be great to make the stay more comfortable. The bar stools were uncomfortable because of the height. Since there wasn’t a table, it was not that comfortable for sitting. Otherwise everything was great!

This is our 3rd stay with David's property. The location is perfect for our family ski adventures. It's well stocked and perfect amount of space for 2 families. We'll be back next year!

Hi I am David Miller, and I own Edelweiss #1 along with my brother Daniel Miller. We've been skiing at Purgatory Resort since we were babies (literally) and we are excited to have the opportunity to own this unit and share it's convenience and magic with other families who want to experience what it's like to stay right on the ski slope.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Other properties on the mountain claim to be ski-in ski-out, but this is one of only a few in the slope-side of the Edelweiss condo complex that has true ski-in ski-out convenience.

Other units in adjacent condo complexes require a bit more walking, which is tough to do with ski boots on while carrying equipment. This condo is a true luxury when it comes to is easy access to the ski slope! You can ski down the mountain, right to the back door, pop your skis off, and walk directly into the unit. To ski out, it's as simple as walking about the back door, taking a few steps, and you're on the ski hill - it's really that simple. There's no need to worry about walking uphill, up or down stairs, taking an elevator, cutting through a parking lot, keeping your equipment in a ski locker, etc.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This unit is all about location. The convenience of being able to ski into and out of the condo makes the unit worth owning, and worth spending time at during ski season. Being located at Purgatory Resort is also a great midway point for staying in the area during the summer and fall months. Durango, Silverton, and Ouray are only a short drive away, along with access to local hiking trails, fishing spots, and much more!
